@torgny4444 In the Breaking Dawn book, Edward Cullen does mention so-called Children of the Moon, which transform only on the full moon and have yellow eyes. One can assume they look similar to the shapeshifters. Anyway, they don't actually make an appearance, and it seems to me like Meyer's covering her ass over how un-werewolf-like her wolf people are.

@jusk8lp Yes, They do have the traits of a werewolf. But people can't complain over them, because they are said to be shape shifter's to the mighty animal the Wolf. Not to the mighty animal the werewolf.

@torgny4444 You're right, but you're referring to Jacob's kind of "shape-shifters"; I was talking about this other creature that does not make an actual appearance in the books at all. They're only mentioned by Edward Cullen near the end of Breaking Dawn, and they're called Children of the Moon, which CANNOT transform at will. But yeah, regardless of that, technically, there are no werewolves in Twilight.
