Then saw them with the Crows during this tour (I can tell by the lights) in 2001?...they ended with this and we were all exhausted...then the Crows opened with with "Angels of the Silences"...and jesus...we were all rejuvanated...what a great friggin show at Montage (Scranton PA)

look...it's just Ed playing to the crowd...don't read to much into it...okay he wrote "Shit towne" about his home town (York PA)...when he played Scranton he said "we all come from a bunch of shit towns"...he wasn't far off..heh..coming from the coal mining region of PA...he was right on...but I like my town...even if it is a "shit town"..

Your missing the point. I do not think he does not appreciate where he came from. In fact most people who are proud of there country and see what kind of mess it is in and make a comment about it are disappointed because ultimately they do care. I say a lot because I am disgusted what we have done and have allowed to happen. A person would not say anything if you did not care. Ed's vocals to a song are like an artist's artwork.
