  • it looks to me like the dog is using the horses tail as a tooth brush, and the horse is happy to be getting his tail combed... everybody wins...

  • that horse is a Trooper!!

  • (horse) ' num num num! must eat food! , tend to pest later!

  • the horse didn't kick..NICE HORSE

  • If this was my horse, that dog would be dead! What a sweet tempered horse! Though, I really hope this dog doesn't try this again with another horse because things might not turn out so well...

  • way to ruin your horse's tail though

  • hahaha at the end that horse cocks her hoof puts her ears back like "ok you better quit or else"

  • LOL cutie video love the horse but i do have to agree with dogdaydreamer

  • haha, lol :D

  • Wolf dogs get a lot bigger then that im guess his is about 18 weeks old. Many people think that wolves are about the size of german shepards where actually if they stand up they are about 4-6 foot,The average is about 5.

  • WTF?The horse is gonna kick the dog if you dont stop it,and the only reason the horse didnt is because the horse saw it coming.

  • @dogdaydreamer yeah dude, but when you deal with horses often, it does get surprising to see a dog barking at a horses hind and not getting a big fat hoof in his face

  • How in the hell does this dog not get a hoof to the head!!!???? Chito's like, whatever.

00:19 hairs stuck in the teeth! hahahahha!!!

  • Josie Wales: "I'm gonna kill you dead and take you to my pack for dinner!"

    Horse: "Psh. Whatever."

  • My jack russell used to do the exact same thing!

  • lol plays...thats a good one

  • That is one patient horse! Such a beautiful group of animals =)

  • Great name for your wolfdog. Greatest movie ever, by far.

  • what type of wolf hybrid is that is really cute but playfull i can tell lol ?

  • That is one patient horse!

  • My horses would give my wolf dogs a swift kick in the face for that. lol When My wolf dogs get out my horses chase them.

  • if i was that horse id hoof that dog in the face

  • I LOVE wolves and horses. XD

  • LOL! meaaaan

  • surprised that wolf dog didn't get a hoof in his face

  • Trop fort ce chien-loup !

  • lol the little dog is like "STOP WE DON'T DO THAT!!!"

  • Oh so cute wolf

  • I think the horse just thinks hes being groomed LMAO

If you think about it,its like just pulling the dead hair out. If the horse was hurting then he would kick out.

Like the way the horse doesnt take any notice haha

  • glad to see this horse has such a high flight or fight drive....LOL

  • lmfao

    aw wow haha

    poor horse XD

i have a wolf hybrid as well

    but she doesnt do that

    haha

  • i have a doberman that does this to a 3 yr old stud horse, & he doesn't kick her either. He is in a pasture alone & has become attatched to the dog & recently I noticed his tail getting shorter. I finally caught them doing this & was wondering if any other dogs did this & survived......I guess there is more to animal relationships than we give them credit for.

  • The black dog (Labrador?) Seems to be thinking along the line that most people think. You pull on that horse's tail, and she'll kick. I think he/she is just as amazed as I am that the wolf doesn't get her hind end handed to her.

  • xD wow. my wolfdog loves screwing with other animals. if she doesnt kill em, she does get alot of hair lol

  • wow....you have a wolf...

    where DO YOU LIVE?

    flipp

    thats so cool

    love the horse though

  • It's amazing how horses can't feel that!

  • I think the horse just knows the dog is no real threat and is only being a pain in the butt. It's sweet though, kind of like a nanny horse. She's been there - done that, and isn't about to waste energy on an annoying dog. Probably not the *best* habit for the dog to have, but she'll teach him a lesson if she deems it necessary.

  • where do you get wolfdogs?

  • Comment removed

  • wrong

Wolves are much bigger set normally with yellowish eyes.

God if I had a pound for the amount of times people have seen my husky and said.." Looks like a wolf"..sigh!!!!

  • Maybe he has something in his teeth ..lol downhome dental floss. Seriously, good post ..thanks so much. And I don't think your an idiot , I think the dog thinks they are all packmates and the horse prolly thinks they are in the same herd. No worries :) And I would bet the horse is a bit older than the dog? Well more mature I mean? I know horses live alot longer than dogs.

  • My wolfdog was playing with my friend's burro, and it almost kicked his head in...this is funny, though. Good horse.

  • That's a BAAAAD dog!

  • looks just like my Tessa. That horse would have kicked the hell out of Josie if it wanted to.

  • lol horse just doesn't care aww ther awesome

  • um only th emane doesn't have nerve endings. you pull hairs out their tail and you're screwed

  • WOW, I own what we call in Holland a

'Saarloos Wolfdog'. It's a German Shepherd race mixed with a female wolf twice. I also want a 'Tsjechoslowakian Wolfdog' which is a German Shepherd female mixed with a male wolf.

BTW, the horse is very patient indeed and it must hurt but it shows they are friends.

  • poor horse

  • i was waiting for the horse to kick the crap out of the dog

  • the horse is very patient :-)

  • Can you help me get the hair out of my mouth?

Too Cute! I'm amazed that she lets him do it and doesn't kick him! It must feel good and they're buds, huh?! Very cool!

    ~Peace

  • Just remember, if the horse actually CARED, it could easily turn around and chase the dog away. It's big enough for it...Great vid, btw.

  • Why is everyone flipping out about this? It's called... playing! Out at my cousin's ranch, they have horses doing this to the dogs that have some rather fluffy tails! (The dogs aren't as calm about it as this horse is though) The horses and dogs get along great, and it's just a form of play. Bad manners or not. =) Love how the dog is all "ahh, hairs in my mouth." But like everyone said, be careful, and make sure your horse is in a good mood

  • it doesnt matter if the horse doesnt feel it, the dog should know its not supposed to do that

  • lol, the wolfdog got hairs in it's mouth. & I'm surprised the horse didn't kick it yet...no offense.

  • Another idiot owner who shouldn't be allowed to have animals.

  • Irresponsible. Both are in danger and its stupid to put both animals at risk. Although due credit to the horse for resisting the natural urge kick at a preditor.

  • haha lol, wtf horse is on anesthetics or something

  • No,The horses tail dosen't have feeling so it dosen't hurt them.

  • urmm yes it does have fealing

  • wolf isnt biting high enough to get to the part that does have feeling.. right then, he's mainly grabbing hair.. imagine someone pulling a pony tail (in relative strenght)

  • it can still feal it

  • learn how to spell feel - no it doesn't. It has pressure receptors but no pain perception in the tail.

  • thats stupid are you a vet

  • Vet student - and while I don't pretend to know everything (I don't-it would take more than a lifetime to know everything) I do know that horses have no pain perception in their tail. And if you have reliable information supporting ur opinion - by all means share it. Never say anything without being able to back it up. I don't like this video though - it demonstrates poor management and ignorance on the owners behalf.

  • what ever its not my horse

if the dog gets killed its the owners folt

  • oh and by the way why do some horses hate there tails being brushed if they cant feal it

also if you full there tails they dont like it

by pull i mean pulling it to cut it

i dont coz my horses are comps but the dressage horses hate in being done

  • The same reason some horses don't like getting their feet picked, or manes cut, or don't like being floated. While none of these things necessarily hurt the horse - all it can take is a bad experience, a fright or a horses' inexperience to result in a horse not liking a particular grooming or management activity. Again - it's "feel" not "feal".

  • like i give a shit how you spell it were not in an exam

  • you really need to just listen to the smarter people bud =]P

P.S. millieosos you seem like youll be a great vet!! =]P

  • i dont want to be a vet durrr

and so your smarter than me then are you

  • haha wooo argument or what :L lmao1!!!

  • ms1980tx ya know wat u mind ur own damn buissnes fuck nut

  • at 31 second the horse lifs up her leg looks like shes gonna kick!

  • Well not really A smart idea letting you woolf mix pulll on the tail of an animal as that is also a kill tactic they use and one day you might find her chewing up your horses leg and once a wolf get the taste of blood they will kill and kill again so please use your head and think about what could come in the future I have had wolf and wolf mixes and also raise and train horses.. Just use your brain people

  • The wolf is actually in more danger.

  • I agree with the owner the wolf is in more danger because one good kick from the horse and he wolf is off to the vet. Also, just because a wolf get the taste of blood does not mean they become killers. I'm am so sick of people saying that and given the wolf and wolfdog such a bad rap. You should be more worried about if you own a pet dog because in all honesty a dog is more likily to attack a human than a wolf or wolfdog. You need to research more. And yes I had a white timber wolf cross!!

  • Wow....That horse is very tame is all I can say. And it looks like a husky...Gorgeous dog though even if it is un-mannered

  • rightfully said; never stand behind a horse's back. This clip could have gone bad, take care next time, good luck!

    e

  • I lost a dog who was messing with a horse. The horse kicked him once and killed him instantly. It only takes one kick. Just saying.

  • That is hilarious. My hybrid just about got his head caved in by a mule...of course, I suppose, lesson learned.

  • that horse should kick the fuck out of that wolfdog
