Why are there double standards in cricket? Obviously when its not conclusive about catch being taken legitimately or not, benefit of doubt goes to batsman. It happened so many times against Indians. Sometimes cricketers take advantage of umpire's wrong decisions by not leaving the crease despite knowing they r out. it's unfair to call lara a cry baby...everyone loses it on the field sometime or the other.i watched this incident live and dravid's gesture was fantastic - he stopped the matter from escalating and declared the innings so that no hard feelings would be harbored in the windies camp. lara to his credit did not say anything after that fractious test series against australia when mcgrath spat and called him racist names....he actually praised him in the post-series presentation.

But all the time he insists short ball are meant to be pulled or hooked (Always hitting short ball is not a good idea most of the time if you see short ball costs his wicket) The reason of pointing's failure is against probing seam attacks, high-class finger-spin and, latterly, short balls, . These will be minor matters whenever he retires.
