They're finally banning Primatene (one of, of not the last epinephrine base product OTC) in the US in December of this year. People are stocking up on it, but the hard reality is that the unavailability of proper healthcare in America, the lack of any affordable asthma medication is going to kill a lot of kids and elderly folks.
@MrHumbleness I'd definitely recommend taking ephedra over caffeine megadosing. Too much caffeine can cause adrenal stress and you'll find yourself feeling tired and finding it harder to lose weight later.

It definitely decreases your appetite a LOT and gives you a nice burst of energy, but unless you're trying to lose weight, you probably won't notice much difference. It's good to combine with a low-carb diet and exercise and it can definitely enhance those two things greatly.
Do you have any specific tips on germinating and growing ephedra sinica? I'm in Southern California and the weather is pretty temperate. I've tried to my wit's end to germinate and grow this herb from seed, but it's stubborn! I've looked online, but the search results just give me generic seed germination tips. E. sinica seems to be much more temperamental than other commonly grown seeds.

I used an ephedra based pill back in 2001 and lost 20 pounds within 6 weeks but I have been told that the ephedra contained in it was probably ephedra "sinica" and the ephedra that is called "sida cordifolia" does not contain enough of the alkaloid to promote the energy level that I received from "sinica".....too bad because I really needed that boost to exercise on those days when I just didn't want to!!!....I will keep looking for the sinica though...gotta lose 20 again!!!

There are some vendors overseas that sell the stems, but I am unaware if it's legal to purchase/import it...

I used an ephedra based pill back in 2001 and lost 20 pounds within 6 weeks but I have been told that the ephedra contained in it was probably ephedra "sinica" and the ephedra that is called "sida cordifolia" does not contain enough of the alkaloid to promote the energy level that I received from "sinica".....too bad because I really needed that boost to exercise on those days when I just didn't want to!!!....I will keep looking for the sinica though...gotta lose 20 again!!!
