i liked them in high school and still do to this day.it is a shame that so many of these bands are no longer together.how ever,i feel that the guys from WHITECROSS really deliver in their songs and their lives.
the awaken day promised, 'every eye shall see' is on the verge of transforming. it is a simple message about love about a God who reconnected humanity to the state intended by each individual choice. The only instruction clearly for us to do was to bring His Message of the Gospel to all corners of the earth. So is it right that we permitted the government to take out the Bible and prayer from schools?
my question is for you. The verse says Pray for our government Do thou pray for the government that thou shall live in peace with them. God dont need messengers. God could speak to everyone in dreams if he wanted. Sorry but the awaken day is not here. you need to realise the promise day is when All Shall see him and behold him. Jesus will destory all evil except for the devil for 1000 years. The devil shall be in the pit.
You need study the bible and be filled with Holy Spirit.
his was 80s christian rock , white cross ruled in the eighties it was thought that made the song not how you looked your heart was who you were listen to the song and many bands between petra and white cross
As for my name, and I know I will get some comments on it, I am not claiming to be Evil in any way shape or form. I know you are going to try and twist it and claim I am. Go ahead. I forgive you for it. It actually has to do w/when I was trying to become a DJ. All I have to say in parting is, PRAISE GOD, JESUS IS LORD, and BLESS YOU ALL!!!!
It's about the Nation as a whole coming together under the Banner that is Jesus Christ. It's talking about the End Times, which we are living in RIGHT NOW. If you doubt me, go pick up a Bible and read it.
Wow. lol you 2 that are bashing either Christians, this band or the song. You really don't realize what they are talking about do you? They do in fact say Jesus in this song. 2nd verse, 3rd line. As for the claim it's not a Christian song....it's VERY Christian.
Wow, this brings back a lot of memories. I was in this video - 1:38 in the crowd shot waiting to get in the show. It was filmed in Bartlesville, Oklahoma - near Tulsa. There were 4 bands, Whitecross, Bride, Novella, and another band I can't remember.
Oh my goodness! How funny to see this video! I used to listen to them when I was in high school back in the late 80's! This sure did bring back so many memories!!! :)
4. then paste this to 4 other video's, if you do this your crush will kiss you on the nearest friday! But if you read this and did not paste this, then you will have very bad luck and ur dad might lose his job

This leaves me with a big question of who's kingdom are they promoting? What god are they singing about? This whole song has gnostic principles all through it, and sounds like they are promoting the new age emerging church to me, based on Luciferian worship.
Where's Jesus Christ? Never heard that name spoken once. Waving the cross of Tammuz on the stage only strengthens my point. No, this is NOT a Christian song.
maybe you should listen to this song again. It's people like you that give the world the argument that christian's are nothing but judgemental. I think to any person that truley listen's to this song knows who their singing about. You speak about Jesus try being like him and stop trying to show everyone how much head knowledge you have.
Here's some of the lyrics from the song: (There's a lot more but I don't have enough room to post them all) I read my Bible just the other day Said the Kingdom's comin' down Jesus said the Kingdom's just a prayer away One Lord, one God, one faith eternally Yeah that's what the church believes One Lord, one God One name above all names Let us all stand together in the Kingdom One King, one crown One reign forevermore All work together in the Kingdom
Dude, I know I'm a year late and you're probably long gone, but you're also way, way, way off base. There was no "cross of Tammuz", whatever that is. There was most definitely Christian theme in this song, and the name of Jesus was boldly stated.
Whitecross may not have been saints, but they were definitely proud Christians. This song is talking about what WILL happen at the end- when every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

This is a great classic Christian rock song. I sang a cover of this song about 13+years ago as a teen in a Christian band.

Here are some lyrics from the song:
I read my Bible just the other day
Said the Kingdom's comin' down
Jesus said the Kingdom's just a prayer away
One Lord, one God, one faith eternally
Yeah that's what the church believes

This was the style back in the late 80s. Wow this band brings back memories. I saw them as a "Jesus" festival.
