they shift with the throttle they twist it as many gears they have thats how many times they turn the throttle back cause i had that same qustion until i looked onto 1RuthlessRacing's channel and saw the passes of the motrcycle

@lilant7120 more like they have speed shifters where all they gotta do is hit the horn to shift. no clutch. or auto shifter that shift at a certain pre set rpm. nobody is gonna throttle back in a race, you wanna stay wide open. standard shifting or rolling off is gonna cause you to lose speed.

@Camkawasaki Button shifters. They have shift light next to the tach, and when it lights up they hit the button next to it and it shifts. Just like the prostock bikes of the NHRA... This is my guess... dont take my word for it .

by using a quick/air shifter, which is push button and clutchless, allows full throttle push button, clutchless shifts
