I'm scared. -_- I'm 13 year old girl and I have 28 stitches in my index finger and 7 on my middle. I broke a tendon on my middle finger and I'm scared to get the stitches out. Does it hurt at all? Because it was my first time having surgery and they put me to sleep when I got the stitches

ohh crap. i got 9 stitches on my head and 8 on my wrist and their coming out this week and im only 14 and im really sensitive. ohh im scared i kinda chickened out today in front of the nurse and now i have to go to A&E. ohh crap. :/ (heart beating fast)

@andrademeza ~ mine were aching for a few days after i got them, but not terribly. it was a little bit hard to walk for the first week, but after that it improved. it was mostly just a strange feeling.. from start to finish. for the first few months of having the stitches out, it hurt occasionally when the temperature changed drastically... but not too much.

i just got 10 stitches last week and it hurt but it cut the nerve and i got it in my leg also! But its right next to my shin and im so glad that i didnt brake it! Did it hurt getting them out?

I had an operation recently, the doctor put the wrong stitches inside, instead of disolvable ones he used normal ones, now I will have to be re-opened up to get them out. Malpractice???

well, it's my leg! ... and it looks okay, but i think i might end up with a frankenstein-like scar, but i'm okay with that. it's like a natural tattoo memory of a time and a place...
