GJ on blowing the bigger caps. Use higher voltage though and they'll blow more often. Also, try running them with the polarity backwards, if you haven't already. That'll get it done.
A high speed radial fan is mounted in a window. This fan pulls air through ductwork leading to the back of the box. It jets the smoke out the window without leaking toxic gases in the room.
yeh man the smaller ones seem to explode from what Ive seen - we used to put them on a gas barbeque (still on PCB) and they would go off like fireworks
You have to choose your capacitors to get goot exploders.
Today's new capacitors have "X" or "K" shaped cracks on their tops. Those cracks are specially designed to break and make capacitors "smoke" or "steam" instead of exploding.
Look in old electronic equipment in which electrolytics DO NOT have those cracks.
Also, on large lytics, a rubber vent is often used. This is, again, designed to prevent capacitor explosion, Do not use them.
In this video, I used a self-limiting DC power supply that goes up to 55 volts at 10 amps. Some of the caps that I blew up can handle over 55 volts, however, using the incorrect polarity will blow them up. I'm currently working on a video of blowing up more caps using a variac (up to 80 volts ac)
Nice work keepem coimng take a 50v 100uf and plug it into a long extion cord trealy far way then plug it in the wall ive tried it it sounds like dinomite not joking it lound!! im looking at a capictior right now lol try k but be caful cause it bad!
Great video.

The one that steamed actually vented like it was supposed to.

veyr nice. Most people are too wimpy use big ones. However, next time use higher voltage if u can.

lol this is what I got:
Before that they burst, ficcate them to you in the culo. I want just saw if then continued to sputtanà your time in blasphemies to the electronics

Why don't you try with ultracapacitors? Just load them and make a hole.... Anyway, be aware!!!
