He did but most of them didn't go public about it because the media during that time were all about any negative stories. They few who went public to defend him in interviews were cut off by interviews...they don't even let them finish their defense of MJ. MJ had real friends and I'm glad Gladys Knight was one of them.

I am listening to this for the first time. When Michael died I was too sad overwhelmed to listen to anyone speak on television. I wouldn't even listen to his music because as a fan, I was in deep denial. I'm glad that Gladys was his friend and didn't desert him (like so many others did) during his trial.
