The Kessel move looks like a good one, maybe, I mean Burke has always been terrible at drafting, so draft picks aren't all that useful to him. He'll lose another first rounder on account of his tampering. Aside from Pronger and the Sedins he has always chosen poorly. It appears that he has assembled a team that has some potential. If he can make this team work, I will be very impressed, Just don't be counting your chickens before they're hatched.
Burke is difficult for me to understand, he already ripped Toskala is public, then he tampers by trying to ninja the Sedins after he accused Lowe of the same thing and blasted Lowe a number of times publicly. Then with the Ducks it was almost as if he trying to intentionally lose his job by signing Bertuzzi and Morrison. Either he was trying to get fired or those were just plain bad moves, either way thats very strange.

Price was badly coached last year and the pre-season games have notghing to do with the season, martin is trying a bunch of young players and most of them wont make it up. And Hal Gill is just a big guy to protect the goalie, nothing more. And what about Markov(who is a better defensemen than any leaf btw) Spacek, Mara, Hamrlik, Gorges, Subban when he's gonna be ready.. If you look closely, all you have is defensive defensemen except Kaberle. Enjoy #8 who cant even make a 1st pass & cant fight..
what do you mean we need scoring. we already have scoring. the leafs where 10th in scoring last year in the hole NHL. and proven goal tending. vesa toskala was injured all last season this year he is healthy goaltending is fine trust me!
