  • it may be pitchy and all that, but he has the tune and at least a thousand times more emotion in his voice than the original, thus i personally like it better. while it made me incredibly uncomfortable when he stared into my soul through the camera, i still youtube-to-mp3'd this. y'all could at least calm down with the "thi$ shiT is SHIT" and maybe have a little respect...

  • I feel it necessary to comment: I heard this version before I heard the original, and (while I might be saying this because Titus rocks my world) this version is much better. After hearing Patrick, I thought that the original was going to be a really free sounding song; instead, it feels like Lana Del Rey was listening a metronome and nothing else. This version has so much soul!

  • Can't see any scenario where posting this was not an embarrassing mistake. It's too uncomfortable to watch for more than a couple of minutes. Nothing to do with the singing (not the problem - if you like Titus Andronicus what did you expect.) Nothing to do with the song choice. (I think it's a pretty great song actually.) Just...based on the tweets, it seems like this whole thing was done ironically. That coupled with how awful it sounds - this is just dumb, Patrick. I expect better from you.
