@iMeRai - Yes it's hard to watch, but it happens with all female animals on this planet. :) Most of her expression is exhaustion, especially after the egg is laid. Breeding lovebirds for about 4 years, I've seen pain and lethargy. It's normal, but again- yes.. hard to watch sometimes.

I have a pare of Eclectus - male Roma and female Candy for 8 years. She lays eggs and takes a good care of them,but they are never hatch. Poor Candy is very stressed out-she peeked almost all her feathers.... I never see him mounting her....is it possible to lay eggs without him being involve?
