sorry to say but it didnt work but im still trying at the battery ..i also made a shielded piezo dc generator that produces five volts seemingly from nowhere and guess what it would fit seemingly on my symet ..but it would need alaot of caps but i may be goin somewhere herw tryin the batt still but thats a different area of research got one upto 1.175 volts almost like a aa cell but not powerful enough

heywouldnt it be great if it was possible to power a beambot with a crystal battery i have made a crystal battery that is i think infinate based on hutchinsons theory and if so then it may be able to power my beambot forever... post you back if it works if so then tthis could be a breakthrough in beam robots..

I am planning to build one myself.Where should I get solar panels that can make more than 3v, but cost less than $10? I've tried radioshack, but they're too expensive, and I don't want to get them from E-bay!

Don't even try the radioshack ones. They only pump out .5 volts, not nearly enough. I will try and dig up where I bought mine. It was some solar garden light company that also sold their solarcells seperate, which happened to be about 3 volts. They are a little bleh, but server the purpose.

lol. Im extremely sketchy on the stuff. But from what I know it stores power in the capacitor until its full then it discharges it.

yes the bot at the top has a powerfilm flexie cell, I had to replace it though, stopped working.
