  • Hey guys these people are so committed I bet most of you cant play tennis for shit so bak off ae

  • Much respect to this family for their commitment and determination

  • @pimpmarideful at least they will be at the top and you won't... I work very hard too to be a good tennisplayer but you can't judge them just because they have a father that earns money so they can have a good training... Thats just really stupid!

  • I personally don't think a champion can be "done". You can work on very hard on a nature talent, but not turning stone to bread.

  • hey pricks im indian and im not rich or something like i learn tennis and you know what these guys have to do everthing they can. so FUK OFF

  • I hate how other people can get good and become famous because they have the money to be able to work their ass off at places like bolletieri's or Newks ranch. They have it so much better cause they get top of the line teachings and lessons from academy's like that. Don't get me wrong, i love Ryan and Christian and they're really good players im jealous of their opportunity haha

  • @syncroneyes Thanks for sharing bro.

  • god how i hate this fucking american accent... this is a rape of our great english... puke

  • Of course they work hard but I wish I had all these oppertunities

  • terrible. If your 14 and weighing in at 100 pounds ur underweight.

  • @ImElitez That's pretty normal

  • faggot american, europeans are the best,

fuk you velocity tennis, pork eating ass bitch, fuk you his dad, you dont know shit

    YOU SUK

  • @plutoxneptune get off youtube then, this is an american website

  • Whenever I play this video, the pokemon theme song keeps popping in my head.

  • hey guys its not gonna be easy to become no 1 cozz im gonna become no 1

  • Wow! Good luck to you! Conclusion: want Lhlih in tennis? You should have a father he was a tennis coach marker!

  • Christian Harrison we see on wimbldone ;) haha

  • @antoniochoi987 he was still number 1 :D The fact that he was an amazing player in his prime can't be denied either

  • @ThePeacemaker45 Hey man, it's cool that Andre is your hero. He's a great player but it is by no means inspiring especially to an up and coming player. He had a tough ride but you should probably read his book...

  • @enesm1991 Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, John McCenroe, Andy Roddick...

  • @rebelian7 Wasn't Roddick #1 for like only 13 weeks or so?

  • Americans never be first world player in tennis!

  • 11.00 am

    lunch with family

where the hell is the breakfast

  • 0.35 HOW BIG that sign is

  • To anyone who wants to make it big in tennis, know what you need to work on and surround yourself with competition. Never, ever skip practice.

Sad thing about Tennis is that it's a rich man's sport. Lessons are crucial but definitely not as vital as someone feeding you the balls.

Always have the drive to surpass others, and NEVER base your tennis on someone else's.

  • ryan harrison and christian harrison? WOW fun wathcing this cuz now ryan harrison is ranked in the top 100 and had a great match vs djokovic. cant wait to see his brother play in the big leagues

  • Did they spend any time on traditional education? From what I saw, they didn't.

  • @Account951234321 they making good money, no need for that.... I wish I was them just play tennis and tennis 8 hours a day no education at alll... I hate school

  • Wow, Is this Ryan Harris?, same guy i just watched play Djokovic some days ago,

and now he is in the top one hundred, cool shit.

  • @rogerfederer2424 oh believe me, that was more of a joke. I have tremendous respect for Ryan Harrison and love watching him play. Again I was just messing around. There's a reason I'm not ranked 76th in the world :)

  • I know Ryan <3 oh joy haha they are great kids....& amazing at tennis... Im a jr. myself (:

  • hey you jackwagons. ryan is not rick. i am very good friends with the dad. he teaches tennis that doesnt make you rich by no means. these two boys have worked there asses off you idiots. i knew them when their young. back off

  • @velocitytennis why do you even bother to fight on youtube sir? no matter what you say they don't care...

  • @velocitytennis Hi, are you american? Because I am swedish and I notice you write "worked there asses off" when it should be "their", and then you write "I knew them when their young", when it should be "they're"? Why? Is this common in the american language?

  • @TheConnyB Please, if you're going to lecture people on grammar at least use capital letters for nouns!

  • Comment removed

  • @2601andrew Huh? I wasn´t lecturing, I was asking a question. I´m not even american. But I think I know what you mean with capital letters, like on "American"? You see in the swedish language, we never use capital letters unless it´s the name of a person but I agree your rule is better! I will use that from now on. For ex we would never write "Swedish language" with capital S. We write "swedish language", but I prefer your rules

  • @TheConnyB Oh okay fair enough, just to clear up though; yes, the mistakes that guy made are common, but only because there are large numbers of people who can't spell... unfortunately. Ironic how English isn't your first language and you still put some English speakers to shame.

  • @velocitytennis tennis is hard ass work! tell em hah!

  • @velocitytennis I'll back off all over your face, you dirty pirate hooker.

  • too overated. Compare to the opportunity given to them and the free coaching from their dad. Sorry Ryan should be a lot better then what he is now.

  • this isnt really aspiring,if they grow up to be number one, wouldnt be really inspired,

now a story like Andre Agassi's inspires me, he didnt grow up rich, but still made it, now that a story !!!, not saying that its you guys fault your rich and all , im just saying Andre is my Hero...

  • @ThePacemaker45 I'm sure people have replied to you by now... but their dad is a tennis coach at a club, that's not rich at all. Agassi was forced to play tennis by his father, these guys wanted it

  • Ryan - yes

    Younger brother - no

Almost impossible to fill in brothers footsteps

  • cod FTW

  • i can say that i am 13 years old, i think that i can beat Chris really easy , but my friend, who is 14 can beat Ryan

  • @jayze494 yes

  • He s very good, he played 5 sets vs David Ferrer in round of 64 in Wimbledown. Impressive...

  • Maybe he never will beat Novak or Rafa, but still top 100 is great, and you have to work very hard for it to get top 100 so dont be that jealous. It is already very good to be top 100 and get second round in Wimbledon

  • i love their eyes!!

  • I want to put it gently he will never wins vs. Novak Djokovic or Nadal

they played with 14 and 16 as well as many other tennis professionals

  • why are you guys so mad about him being good? dont be mad at others success just because you aren't fortunate enough to have that much money... he still is working so hard for himself. stop being so immature

  • He sucked against ferrer. :)

  • @LetMeBeMe He went to 5 sets against Ferrer... that's not sucking. *happy face*

  • Ryan Harrison is 19 and he is a pro. He is playing in the second round in Wimbledon against David Ferrer right now. He is #122 in the world

  • You guys do know that Ryan Harrison is at the Wimbledon open right?

  • who gives a fuck if they are rich...im sure he could kick all your asses in tennis and thats all that fuckin matters.

  • They go for free, people. Sounds like alot of jealousy out there.

  • bet ya I could beat the younger one, i just turned 15

  • people are bitching just because this kids are rich. I mean read the title it doesn't say that the kids are poor. Even rich people don't make it that far and this kids are giving all of them to be pros and represent USA. You guys are dumb asses

  • mental conditioning? really?

  • I watched his game during the US Open. Yes I would say he is.

  • Spoiled rich kids who don't have to worry about jobs, college, chores. No worries in the world, they spend every waking moment grooming themselves and being groomed for tennis? Hey - you can create all kinds of champions with that formula.

  • @atomcrush that's not true. I agree you need money to afford tennis lessons, tennis equipment, and to go to tennis tournaments. But at the same time, you have to want it within urself. Tennis is hours of hard work. And a lot of rich kids don't become professional tennis players, simply b/c they r not willing to put the hours in. So no matter how much money u have, there is not guarantee that you will become a pro.

  • to be fair you could get any kid to be pro if u home school them so they get no social life,if u say to them tennis is the only sport in the world, and ur rich and have the best tennis racket and trainner.Anybody can get that good especaily from the age of 5 :D

  • anyone can be that good with training since they were toddlers. its not that hard.

  • I have seen lots of guys that have had this support and don't amount to anything,

it's no sure thing, u have to be strong and a hard worker, and rich?? They are blessed that the parents are making this sacrifice, but it doesn't mean they are rich, they probably worked their ass off to get there...

  • well these kids have a bright future and winning tourneys really makes you gain experience and make your tennis background more attractive but struggling is still a very possibility.

In the ATP and WTA, a lot of those pros started holding a tennis racquet at the age of 3 or 4 but a lot of pros struggle too. You might train in Bollettieri Tennis Academy but doesn't seal the deal in becoming #1 in the world.

But good luck! You guys bring new stuff to a European-dominated sport. TENNIS!!!!

  • gah he is hot

  • I wish I was rich and had started playing at a young age....I'm 18 and started 3 years ago. It's hard to barely make the top 8 in state. Nadal won the French Open at my age....it's not fair :/

  • Tennis is the best sport ever created!!!

  • oops sorry, mistaken. christian is the younger one lol

  • they look exactly like twins. now ryan looks exactly like what christian was lol

  • doesn´t the boys go to school? or they just trainning and play games!

  • im playing tennis im started in 12 years old

  • that kid is 11, not 14.

  • I think those kids should try some middle class tennis. 30-50 dollar lessons ONCE a week, hitting with friends to get better, running tracks by your self, and all the mental training you need from your dad barking at your ass every time you make a mistake. It may not make you world number one, but it makes you mature and ready for later on in life.

  • @jsguy100 you in full detail described my entire life. it makes me sad.

  • @jsguy100 Amen

  • @jsguy100 hey dillweed. i have friends that were coached by there dad and i watched there dad coach them. i am very good friends with them and he would make most of you guys cry because he is so tough.

  • @jsguy100 dude one of "those kids" you are referring to is Ryan Harrison who is ranked like 76th in the world. i don't think that lessons once a week is gonna cut it haha

  • @jsguy100 but they have cash !!! MOST successful tennis players are from at least mid-upper class

  • Physical therapy, mental conditioning, $100 per hour tennis lessons? I guess money really does determine how good you are in a sport. =\

  • here's a coincidence, sampras's kids names were, guess what, christian and ryan 0_0

  • oh gosh. I got so much hate for my comment.

  • faggot

  • the older brother looks like tyler hansbrough of indiana pacers haha

  • if you wanted tennis hopeful's sponser every kid, give them tennis day and night with no school and work load of the real world, you'll get promising results

  • @LeafVillItachi like chinese kung fu masters did to their youg promising kung fu stars hehe

  • thhuuurrnn thoes hips and shooeeelldeeeerrss

  • the first 2 ppl have somethin in common , u cant understand them well !

  • CALL OF DUTY world at war !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol i thought am not the only one who plays tennis and enjoys dropping ppl from range wit a sniper

  • his mother and father must of been proud at the us open for ryan

  • Was I the only one who noticed, they didnt go to school ?

  • @TheKwynez hey they take the school at home they are like my i'm in the bolletrieries and i don't go to school i stugy in my house the important thing is that we study!! lol....

  • @TheKwynez Like they said in the video; "the mother takes care of the home schooling."

  • I ate my words I just looked them up and there great they didn't look that good there but there amazing good luck to the harrisons :) Sorry for the previous comment

  • I'm sorry but I can't see either one becoming a pro I just can't

I mean there good but they don't seem like the type (at all) I play tennis 5 days aweek don't do a ton of conditioning but I work my butt off in practice and in matches and I know some people that are definitely better than the older one and they went no where (they got a full ride to a division one school but they never went anywhere) I'm 14 and iv played for 4.5 years and the younger one is better than me (so is the older one)

  • Bolletieri is washed up.

  • WaW noobs

  • this kids arent rich but they arent poor, their parents have money and all of those raquets that they use will cost allot. I think that they should go and study at a school not home and try to get some education.

  • Texas and Florida produce the best tennis players due to year round play. I'm in Texas, and a freshman. I'm not saying there not better then me but from what I saw is they are both light, and incredibly mobile, making you tough to beat. I play at the nation tennis level but I am bulky and over weight. Lighter younger players don't need the best skills if they can get there and reduce the spin.

  • @disman88 no like i went to newk's academy with them and their dad was a coach there which means they were able to go for free or very close to it. now they're at bollittieri and their dad is a coach there so once again they pay next to nothing. if your dad is a tennis coach and your mom doesn't work...you can't really be wealthy

  • there not even rich . there from texas . nick sponsored them

  • @disman88, why don't u stop complaining about not having alot of money and work your ass off with jobs, it will pay off!

  • WOW those guys have everthing to become what they want here where i live u have notin but buncha old balls and a 50$ racquet, and a jump rope humm a old cracked tenis court with weed growing :)

  • what is tha name of the raquet that chris is playing with at this video?

  • @shedon123 the pure storm limited..both of them use it and i use the 2011 pure storm tour and its a great racket i recommend it for pros like me ;)

  • @disman88 these guys aren't rich at all their dad's a coach and their mom teaches them at home (they're home schooled). you're an idiot

  • @nfkskier21x

You're the idiot, because they are obviously rich. Do you realize how much it would cost to train everyday at such a prestigious clinic? Not to mention the other services provided. It costs close to $100 just for an hour of indoor tennis time. You're a moron if you think they are not rich. The reason they are home schooled is because they are practicing every till like 5 and don't have time for school.

  • Must be nice having rich parents. Not having to worry about anything except winning. I feel immature saying it, but rich kids piss me off.

  • @SuperWolfies You cant simply buy success, yeah the money sure helps, but kids still need to work VERY hard and make sacrifices to get anywhere near that level.

  • I go swimming 6.30 hours a week :O

  • what racquets do they use?

  • lucky ass rich kids...

i can barely afford my tennis racquets

anyone can be just as good with training like that.

Try growing up with nothing and becoming something big.

    now that would inspire me..

  • @disman88 the fact that they have money shouldnt underestimate the effort thry are giving in order to succeed, pepole with so much motivation inspire me anyway.

  • @disman88 you have no idea what you're talking about, their dad works at bollettieri, where they train. they both have sponsors so they dont pay for their racquets, and im sure ryan harrison already gets paid to play with his racquets.

  • @disman88 Lucky? you thing just becuz ur rich u can be a pro..it takes hard work so suck up..or fuck up bitch

  • @disman88 amen

  • @disman88 they're on scholarships dumb ass . Why don't you read the description...

  • @97tennis yes but you think they didn't train before receiving the scholarship? the scholarship is for those already good at tennis and is used to excel their skills even more.....use common sense

  • @VanMedia yes they did train with their father at a local club or something... scholarships are only for people who can't afford it...i go to bolletieri a lot.

  • @disman88 Okay Wow!! Let me explain Something... You obviously dont have NOTHING You have a computer to look up this video On youtube ANd If you have a computer I assume you have a house If you have a House You have Money To pay the bills because if you couldnt Pay the bills You Obviously Wouldnt have the house. And if you can Afford All That But Not Raquets doesnt Make any sense. So Stop complaining And see what its really like to have Nothing.

  • @disman88 These kids get finacial support for the usta and IMG. Before they got those deals, their mom was a teacher and their dad was a coach at the local club. They weren't exactly raking in the bills. You don't need to be a lawyer to buy a 20$ tennis racquet and hit a few balls against the garage..

  • @disman88 u know how many pro tennis players who grew up with nothing but a racquet and a ball? alot more than u think buddy. its possible but they didnt have that kind of negative attitude u just displayed with your comment thats the difference. suck it up, lifes hard for everyone. are you just gonna roll over while it kicks u in the A**? or you gonna do something about it. the choice is yours my friend.

  • Comment removed

  • @disman88 lol' i got two k factors from winning a tournament...before i used a cheap garbage raquet. thats what its all about

  • @disman88 not true that anyone can be just as good with that training it takes talent and the right mind set to be this good

  • @disman88 jealousy? envy? totally incorrect? 10-1 you got an AA from a JC and spend half your hours sitting on your overweight ass and then wonder why you grew up poor and have just gotten poorer.

  • @spritelyhere I don't think that he was jealous or ignorant...I think he was just pointing out that these kids wouldn't be where they are if their parents weren't rich. There's nothing that they've done themselves to deserve the opportunity over any other kid in the country. Don't be so touchy.

  • @disman88 Sharapova.

  • well we cant blame people for being rich, its sad, but i guess some are more lucky than others but they still have to work hard i think

  • @disman88 But tbh if you have the money, why not strive for the very best? I can sense a great deal of jealousy, Ryan Harrison is now a professional so without this training at the academy, he would never had been what he is today. Unfortunately, money makes the difference between a professional and a national player.

  • @disman88 Actually Maria Sharapova had training like this but her and her dad came to America with minimal amount of money and she made it big.

  • @disman88 Mansour's Bio grew up in Tehran, Iran, in a hovel. He learnt to play with a broom handle and a ball. He wasn't able to play tennis on a court as a boy -when he sneaked on with a homemade racket he was beaten to within an inch of his life by a guard and his racket snapped in front of him. He grew up to become a tennis player in Iran, only for the sport to be banned. He eventually escaped to Paris. He missed his best years in tennis but went on to become tennis' greatest entertainer!

  • @disman88 My brother, if i make it one day

I will create an inspirational/motivational story of how i would come to be

Anyone can make it if you truly believe in yourself, it's a benefit for people like us because we see the real world. And we struggle everyday. Sometimes you may cry, but inside if you believe, the light will come. And if you can see just a glimpse of that light, if there is a light.

Reach towards it, the light is a symbol of opportunity.

Grab that light, and you will make it

  • @disman88 amen

  • "scholorship"? Seriously?

  • 16? well guess he bettter start winning french open at 17 like nadal lol

  • man, what i would give to just live a week in there lives. that be better than going to school. lol

  • i lost rating for them, when i saw world at war on the tv screen

  • The majority of these kids are thrown into the sport and consequently into these mental meatgrinders by parents who see themselves in them in order to achieve what they haven't. Let the children live and act their age. I love the fact how Mr. Williams turned two sisters practicing in the ghetto tennis courts into future hall of famers!

  • Wow, how can you guys hate on these kids because they have money. I can bet that they have missed out on a lot of things that regular people have been able to experience. They have to do this rigorous schedule everyday, AND only get to hang out with their parents. Their lives are not easy. They did not say that they were the best in the world, they said they WANT to be. Dont judge them because their parents only want to the best for them.

  • fuck i hate being poor.....

  • These guy shouldn't think that just because they are going toThe Bollettieri Tennis Academy, that they are automatically a pro or number 1. They have this is a special privilege, but they need to be more dedicated.

  • These kids are surely good players (based on their results). Ryan reached the fourth round at Indian Wells this year. But their goals are not good. Juniors, and in fact, nobody should go for a goal of being number. Players should go for playing well, having fun, but just mainly be dedicated and focused on their sport. Being number one will come naturally if you can play like a champion, but people shouldn't set the number one ranking as a goal. They are lucky to go here, but its privilege.

  • it smells like a BIG commercial for Bol Academy just as Agassi was back then.

I doubt all guys get the same warm atmosphere. I might be wrong but I seriously doubt that.

  • ur a goose! these kids are working harder then u, selling tamales. day in day out training is not easy. there is no luck about it.. go out and make some money if you want a new raquet

  • @Geoffgm3 I do work, very hard, I've won state titles and have scholarships both academically and for tennis, i'm not saying these guys dont work hard, theres a difference between running and hitting tennis balls, opposed to coming from a poor family in which you dont have the money to afford this camp, which is very hihg im sure, a nike tennis camp is like 700 bucks a week, can you imagine this? Im pretty sure any tennis player that could afford to go here would, as for the rest of us, hardwork

  • I hate these guys all they GOT is MONEY!!

  • I hate these guys all they GOT is MONEY!!

  • Ryan Harrison is actually extremely good at tennis. Everyone who says this kid is bad is quite ignorant. I literally just watched play a close match against Roger Federer. I'd be surprised if he wasn't in the top 50 by the end of the year

  • Ryan Harrison has broken through the top 200 in the world. He's made it to the 3rd round of US Open 2010. Stop hating and just admit that the kid at least has potential. Oh, and Bollettieri doesn't know jack shit about tennis. The only reason these two kids are so great at their age is because of their dad, Pat Harrison. He's the real coach.

  • @W3nGalanG There's a reason people go to Nick's Academy. I'm sure he knows a lot about tennis.

  • @JoshuaMari The main reason is because of the competition, not because of how great Bollettieri is. There are some very good coaches at the Academy, no doubt. Bollettieri, however, is not one of them. There are many videos here on YouTube of Bollettieri giving "lessons". Listen closely to what he says, and after you wade through all of the cryptic wording that he uses when he teaches, you'll realize that the man has a very elementary knowledge of tennis. He is a great businessman, however.

  • @W3nGalanG I understand your point now, and I have no come back because I have little knowledge of Nick. Thanks.

  • I guarantee Ryan will be in the top 50 by the time he's 20 years old and apparently Christian is as good or better than Ryan was at that age, they have some really good futures ahead of them.

  • Guys, let's all be realistic. Yes, they have gotten some opportunities most aspiring tennis players would not. But they are both gracious and they're not the rich assholes you guys are making them out to be. Christian is my age, 14, and he's a damn good tennis player. No need to be so critical of youth.

  • I'm pretty sure none of th brothers will even be in the top 50!

  • i wish i could be good

  • it's so great being rich

  • these kids are so lucky thier parents are probably super rich so they can get a ton of equitment and play tennis 24/7 and they started when they where like two

  • Why all the disdain towards these kids? Ya they are lucky to have the finances to do this but for as good as they are they are still humble. Everyone says they won't make it, etc, etc, but it takes years to solidify yourself as a world top 10. Don't expect them to become #1 overnight.

  • hahahah with strokes and volleys like that he'll maybe break top 300, kids in south America play to eat.

  • Harrison will win his first grand slam champion in 2015. If he come New Jersey, his dream will come true. I am 100% sure.

  • "mada mada dane" to these two kids.. haha :-)

  • @Alexandahls nah i bet they could probably get 1 game in with Ryoma hahaha jk they couldnt return his serve lol

  • @Alexandahls LOOL the prince of tennis...Ryoma would definitely say that if he saw them play :P
