  • The Heil DuraPack 5000 is the way to go.

  • i wish i was in there

  • That company is IESI we have a few Leaches like that, average tonnage 22-23 tons

  • Yep, do you work for IESI in NYC?

  • Sure do.

  • That is the fastest packing cycle I have seen on a Leach 2R. I bet it was equipped with the Fastpak feature.

  • lol pop pop pop.. that is one fast packer compared to the Leach in my vid!

  • what company looks like suburban carting corp

  • It was IESI.

  • yeah its a leach... but like on staeroids look at it go!

  • and people say heil is faster?!? nothing is better than a leach!!

  • This seems a litle fast for a Leach still thought I'm a leach guy.

  • Las Vegas?

  • New York City in Times Square.

  • same truck colects my yard waste

  • nothing like "screaming bags"

  • gives me a head ache!

  • i take some excedrin then give it hell baby!

  • What a popping great time! Listen to those bags scream!!

  • Listen to those bags scream!! What a popping good time!

  • same exact truck i use and it takes the truck 3 times longer to pack. wow i wish it packed that fast

  • I've also do that kind of recording of these garbage trucks (rearloaders) in NYC. That was Cool!!!

  • Yeah ive seen yours you should ask the guys for up close shots everyone I asked said yes!

  • Nineteen seconds, and would have been even less if the oper. hadn't hit the wrong lever at mid-cycle. Amazing for a 2R. Must be a "performance shop" installing hi-flow pumps somewhere in the metro area!

  • Well this is a newer model wasnt there a regenerative vale or something like that availible on the later models?

  • Maybe that was not a wrong lever pull ... could be he did it on purpose to ease the bag popping with more space between packer and hopper edge. The guy in the MCNeilus XC video did it likewise.

  • How come all these american trucks have a load of levers to pull?

Can't you just have simple start, stop & reverse buttons like in europe?

  • When it come down to it this is simpler levers directly linked to the valves instead of lots of buttons and relays. While we are on that subject why can't europe stop making trucks where the loading height is over your hear and cant see the blade function or whats ending up in the hopper???

  • only the ones with (normally) an aftermarket binlift are like that. "Open back" ones, 9/10 times are at waist height. The european trend is however the MGB wheelie bin system, like, from what I've seen of american dustcarts, the one man with a joystick system. Neither are any fun to operate or watch!

  • If you are refering to automated side loaders then yeah they get boring after a few cans. Check out some of the Australian equipment from MitchellM15 they seem to have the best comprimise of functionality and fun in their RL's BTW are you in the business yourself?

  • Yeah I drive a bulky refuse round, though I don't often have chance to film what I do!

Sideloaders are hardly used here in Britain. Our domestic rounds are all hand loaded, but rarely am I on those.

  • that was a fuckin funny comment! I laughed so hard I had to go and change my fuckin underwear! So true! Well put!

  • be my friend please!!

  • funny- high performance pumps!

  • Now!!! that's a fast packer blade and an even faster sweep cycle!

  • I hope you didn't get sprayed there! lol

  • Actually in one of my other ones i got i bit on my hand but thats the risk you take to get footage like this.

  • where was this taken

  • Times Sq. New York.

  • oh thx

  • AWESOME SHOT!!! Love to see more of this truck if you can see him again!! :D
