hello Daniel, I bought the part 1 of the DVD series & I would like to congratulate you for the quality of it; I'm a beginner and was looking for a course teaching the fundamental techniques and that's exactly what I found. I'm practicing the basic strokes, with my laptop beside the paper, playing your DVD, it's like having a personnal teacher (who I can make repeat the lesson a hundred times!). Thanks again
Hi daniel. I got the level 1 dvds and let me tell you.. I love them, you are great. Where can I find more info on types of paints on different surfaces. Like metal, plastic,etc... Im starting to airbrush and I love it. Going to order level 2 soon. Thanks daniel
Daniel you are doing a really good job in power series vol 1. You must be one of the best in the world to airbrush, if not the best. I have ordert the power series vol 2 and can't wait to get it, please keep op the good work.
@woodruff3000 : Thank you very much. You are too kind. There are many talented artists out there; I'm very glad you like the DVDs and that they helped you. Thank you again.
@JustWonderingHowToDo : There will not be a Power Series Level 3, but only because once you have the fundamentals of Level 1 and 2, you stop going 'up' so much as sideways. So there will be new advanced DVDs under the title for example of: Power Series: Master Collection- Power Portraits, or something to that effect. I hope that helps. - Daniel
dan you've done it again, just got disk 2 today, the info you gave on brushes, and paint is verry helpful, also where can i get hold of your paint, and can i use them on t shirts as well?? once again you have the sickness that no other airbrush artist have thanks you thank you. kani uk
@airbrushpower Since you mentioned your Mac. I am going to buy a new computer and have never had a Mac. I want to make videos and put a web page together- I want to get good enough with building web pages so I could do it for other people or companies and bring in some extra income. What could you tell me about the Mac so I could decide if I should or shouldn't buy one. Thank you for your help:)
Totally worth the money. There is no dvd out there thats better than this. He teaches you fundamentals that can be apply to anything not like other dvds that only teach you tricks. Thank you.
lol, thats classic. I've never heard that before. Thanks man, there could be worse people to look like, you could've said I looked like Newman from Seinfeld or something...lol
I just have to say that this is such great information.I do a lot of airbrushing on cakes and have found out that basics apply always. There are adjustments to make based on frosting or fondant...but im highly impressed. Thanks for sharing!
im just starting out at airbrushing and i was wondering if these dvds would help me. ive been looking for dvds and these seem to be the best on the market
I don't wish to appear like an over enthusiastic FNG but I just can't help myself.
I had my first go using Createx transparent paints from the bottle. All went well for half an hour doing the dots and things then it started. My airbrush started spluttering water. I thought I would be alright as I have a separator on my compressor but no. I discovered as advised in the DVD that end of line water trapping is essential.
But the more I watch the DVDs the more I love it.
I've watched the DVDs right through twice now and read the notes but I couldn't work out what type of paint was used. Whether it's solvent or water based.
Any chance of expanding a little? It's like the last missing piece in my jigsaw.
I got the DVDs last night and now have square eyes.
Daniel..I thought it was brilliant and terrificly good value. I luv your calm approach and the way you break it down into components suits my simple engineering mind.
I now feel so confident and can't wait to get started. My missus won't let me have the airbrush until my birthday (4 weeks away). LOL
Thank you so much for your kind words. It makes me so happy to know that it helped and inspired you so much. We just want people to learn how to airbrush properly so that they can enjoy it!
I just got my DVD last week, followed the exercises...I must say, truly amazing!!! I stepped up my airbrushing so much. I finished the second to last exercise, stepped back, found my mistakes and did again, and again and it came out beatiful. Daniel, thanks so much for breaking it down and putting it in a perspective that anyone can literally do it...and with confience at that!!!
That is GREAT to hear. Not only that you improved, but your ability to self analyze and critique your own work. I am SO pleased that you got so much out of the set.
they say a bad workman blames his tools. I've bought this DVD two months ago, and followed the 11 fundamental exercises as the DVD required. Then did the practical exercises. My work is easily 60 to 80% better than it was before I started. In the UK the DVD cost me for 49 quid , but I don' mind telling you I would have paid double that..
dude dont tell urself that u suck cuz that will get u no where. i got mine too few weeks before, ive been practicing like hell ever since... wasting A2 paper every day. u actually see ur self progress. anyway youtube is fine for beginners like us.
I just bought and received your power series level 1 Video ...MAGNIFICENT !!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU !! after all my YEARS of struggling i finally someone i can understand ! This is the best thing that has happened to me in an awfully long time, Im in shock that someone of your caliber would willingly and openly share your expertise for the measly price of the DVD , im being honest when i say i would have happily payed 10 times the amount. Cheers and thank you again !!
Hi Daniel, in Sugus from airbrush forum, i just ordered now the collector pack from your amazing videos! my order is the 00033 number, i hope have it soon, i always loved your work, and i hope this will be the beginning of more dvds following this firsts. Bests regards from Spain, mate!!!
Thanks for the support. We're busily putting the finishing touches on the DVD set to make it the best we possibly can for you all. Can't wait to get it to you, along with you Airbrush Bug TM Tee and sticker!

I'm actually using automotive basecoat, or as its commonly referred to: 'Urethanes'. I'm using a standard brand like PPG, DNA or HoK.
airbrushpower 2 years ago
Thanks for that.
I have all water based for now, both transparent and opaque and understand that I need to build up the layers lighter than urethanes.
I will have my first go this week, thanks
