LOVE this!! I just did this for my Christmas-week mani with OPI Glitzerland as base, China Glaze Twinkle Lights and Party Hearty as my glitter, and a few different-sized green and red rhinestones on the ring fingers as accents. I would have never thought to use a sponge. Thanks, Josh! :)

Everyone those crystals can be found at any craft/fabric store. I already had some from Michaels, so I don't remember how much they cost, but it's like maybe $5 for a 30 qty pack? It varies by the size and pack size. You hear Swarvoski crystals and think expensive, but that's pretty standard for rhinestones. Heck, they may even be in the fabric section of Walmart. I forgot to look, but I will my next trip lol...... Thanks Petrilude, I LOVE my nails....

This is GREAT!! But I was too anxious/cheap to go to the MAC store for the glitter, so I went right to Walmart and bought a multi-color pack of Elmer's glitter liquid glue sticks (in the craft/school supply section). Looks just as good!

Soak cotton balls with some acetone nail polish remover, and leave on the cotton balls on the nails for a few minutes. After a few minutes, press down on the cotton ball and using continuous pressure, drag the cotton ball (firmly but gently) towards the nail tip and it should take all the polish and glitter off your nail in one go. I do one hand at a time - works every time for me.

@lollikitty123 Wait till the rhinestones fall off and buff the nail :D id say...but best is to use instead of nailglue use a topcoat it sticks well too and it is easier to remove :)

an easier way is to brush the glittters (use a synthetic brush) onto the nail when the base nail polish is half dry. The glitters will adhere well, likewise with the stones. Let dry then finally seal off with a good top coat.
