Just 1 more thing: instead of all those wasted moments going over & over & over trying and stressing out that you just can't hear the pronunciation of certain words, a person could just say it slower and pronounce the most difficult parts again a few times. Because we have video and can play it again as many times as we want.Tthen we Wouldn't Waste so Much Time trying to hear the pronounciation.. Then we could use the extra time to practise and memorize what we Did learn and then learn more.
It doesn't sound that fast to me but then again, I began learning French 8 years ago, 5 of those years were spent in France. Twy days after my arrival, my girl and I went out with some of her friends. Although I had been learning French for 3 years, I wasn't able to understand much, on top of that my wife spoke really fast.
So anyway, one of her friends says to me "if you ever manage to understand your girl, you'll be able to understand anyone". A year would pass before I was able to
So how can you learn how 2 pronounce all the words if U don't know what their saying? U can go over & over words but if U Don't hear some of the words, U R Not going to learn how to speak it. I found video's that Do speak slower and I learned the complete word Not just part of it. When I Do hear the whole word I CAN PRACTICE and PRACTISE IT TILL I CAN talk faster and faster!! I asked frenchpod 101 to make their vid.'s slower & they said they would but they Didn't so I Dont listen 2 them anymore.
Your right that no one would speak slow in France but a few might. A phrase I learned is: Can U speak slower? When I went online to learn fr., french101.c radio clips made me learn in a good pace bcoz they went in a slower2moderate pace; then they showed their vid.'s with different subjects and they went to fast & I couldn't hear part of some of the words.
hi, thank you for your comment, you see, if I speak slower, I garanty you that you won't understand a word once in France or in a French speaking country, to speak slower is not going to help you. Try to focus first on what you hear, then have a look at the writing, but first what you hear and repeat it again and again. I watched some lessons with people speaking slowly in French, really nobody speaks like that and it won't be a help, you will say, I worked hard and I understand nothing!!!
Thank u for this! Excited to find your channel. Thank you!

Sérieux hein?!
Une chance que on vit dans un pays franco ou nez(jai jamais su comment on écrit sa xD) dune famille francophone =]
Mais moi je vit au Quebec(pays franco-anglo) qui veut dire que nous on doit apprendre les 2 langues comme certain autre pays...
Moi je trouve les 2 langues tres facile...
Mais je voudrai apprendre le russe et le japonnais...

understand her. Her friend was right, after that, I had no problem understanding anyone.
My advice to you is to continue listening to isfrench, you will be better prepared when you travel to a francophone country
