  • "We never asked any other country to fight instead of ourselves"

    Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, ... ?

  • @chemerich- Israel was attacked from DAY ONE, with endless attempts to destroy us. Countries such as Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi-Arabia attacked Israel, and at one point in 1973, Israel was under an existential threat. Even then, when fighting for its life with only 5 million Israelis (facing more than 200 million Arabs) Israel NEVER asked for ONE SINGLE American soldier. Israel always used our own Israeli men and women!

PS: wars in Afghanistan and Iraq had NOTHING to do with Israel.

"wars in Afghanistan and Iraq had NOTHING to do with Israel"

    Oh yes it has !

  • @chemerich - not only it had nothing to do with Israel, one war (Iraq) was against the israeli interest, but we still respected the American decision. The war in Iraq was not good to Israel in more than one aspect (instability, Islamic radicalisation, Iranian influence). Afghanistan war was on the other side of the planet, Israel had zero influence on the US decision to go to war there (it was because 9-11).

As I said in all wars Israel participated, it NEVER received one foreign soldier!

It is well known that Saddam Hussein was a threat to Israel. He supported the Palestinians and fired Scud missiles against Israel and Israel had an economic interest in controlling the oil of Iraq and Afghanistan.

  • @chemerich - Iraq is STILL not a friend of Israel, and doesnt have diplomatic ties with Israel. In that sense, very little has changed. Israel NEVER got ANY oil from Iraq nor Aghanistan pure lie. The American war in Iraq had nothing to do with Israel. Infact, USA begged Israel would not retaliate when Saddam fired the scud missiles on ISrael, because it was hoping not to break the coalition, that was made of Arab -muslim countries. on the long run, the Iraq war was not good to Israel
