@IamChrisLang do you think they will be connecting business profiles to Google Places? That seems like the most logical thing to do, since they already have all of that data. If that's the case, you could actually pinpoint your business page on the map, in your G+ profile, as well as many other features to help boost your business profile.
I am seeing what Chris showed us as far as what individuals can do for local businesses, and that will be good information for people who are traveling and want to stay away from the Franchises, and get into the local culture as far as businesses. I can also help for people to report where they ate the night before and got ill, so we can check it frequently before going.
The local uses can help to either make or break a business eventually. That is my prediction.

So what we are expecting are 3 levels of Google biz profiles, Personal, Enterprise and Education, integration into Places pages and then at some point, maybe at the same time, Google Apps integration.
With 4 mill biz using Google Apps, and 30 mill single users across the board from US & foreign colleges, 7 US State govs and even the NYC school system, integrating Google Apps, Google Places pages and Brand profiles into one system has to happen all at once and integrate fully...
Perhaps not all are Google beta testers they could be real profiles that Google has now hidden since announcement of business profiles. Remember they did say 'Don't start making business profiles cause we have that coming soon. Just saying.... Great Vid chris
@bluecactuz - One thing I did want to clarify, is that this is a mockup of future Google functionality and simply shows how profiles will soon link to our businesses and employers. Cool huh?
@scifispace - So far the only live profile I have been able to see is Ford of Europe. Go to G+ and search "Robert Wallis" and you will see two profiles, one is a beta Ford of Europe.
@scifispace Nope, right now we are seeing a mock up of how it will work. The only actual biz profile I know is Ford of Europe, and they have confirmed what Google has told us, that personal Google business profiles will not migrate to business profiles, and they will be very different apparently.
Released now ...

Still waiting for the day that the g+ business profiles come into play. Things will start cranking on that day.

Will be interesting to watch if they are truly business profiles in testing or just a mockup.
gutzywoman 6 months ago
@gutzywoman - Actually it's both, it's a mock up of us connecting to biz profiles that are in testing.

almost all brands are on it... it looks like it's a fake one, or am i wrong?
bluecactuz 6 months ago
@bluecactuz - Nope, not fake, go to your G+ profile and do the same thing I did. You will see the brand overlays just like in the video.
IamChrisLang 6 months ago
@IamChrisLang i'm just saying that all the brands are there, seems weird that all of them are testing G+

Interesting. It only seems to work in Chrome, btw. Doesn't in Firefox.
Anyway to actually see the business profile though?
