I'd love to have a jamming session with that thing... No doubt after a couple of hours it'd slap my fingers away and take off on it's own and produce a rhythm equvilant to dividing by 0 -then we'd be in trouble.
LOL If it had a saw for an arm it could then make copy's of itself out of wood! Last thing I want is a bunch of wooden robots forming an army to conquer the world.
@Leeroy002 ya they start out with trees, move on to shrubs, then small animals, squirrels and birds mainly for inhabitting the trees and shrubs, and finally humans...
they should make al robots not workers but artists.. althought creativity isn't a impossible task to make, it still will be though to make it free of choice in his actions instead of random
my dear lord... technology goes full circle. a hippie robot. at least we know this one won't go crazy and start killing people. it'll be too "wiped from the big blowout last night, maaaaan. i was hitting that soldering iron like craaaazy."
1997 a girl called lauren was walikng in a forest and then a she just dissapeared no one ever found her untill 2000 when a yoing girl called Mary found her body and markings on her chest saying: I wasnt pretty enough" and now you have read this she will appear in your mirror saying your not pretty enough and kill you. by the way the girl called mary died shortly after.

if it is good AI, the robot listens, learns and stores beats. I don't know if they could program it to dynamically update it's understanding and instantly and abstractly employ it.
YOu can only program a robot to do something, you can't tell them to make their own beat (yet), and still looking at a human drumming is more fun then a robot.
It's interesting but considering all the time that went into building the robot, wouldn't it have been better to build a robot that was great at something, instead of a robot that is mediocre at something. You can hardly call it technology when it plays like a caveman.
Did this robot ever jack you off?

You don't establish how the robot is listening. It looks like it's always doing its own thing regardless of what the human is doing.

Diddle1414 5 years ago
Technology has to start somewhere....It's not magic you know. It's done through incremental improvements.
paratoke 5 years ago
sorry, but the truth is, from the laymen's prespective technology and science is really magic (diddle1414 = caveman)
inbox101 5 years ago
There's already technology that can do far more than this can. It's just a waste of time.
