great video very professional. I have problem with my Whirlpool not spinning the clothes dry. Wife must turn tub a few turns to get it to spin and then it seems to spin fine but if she doesn't check it in every cycle it may not spin and the clothes are VERY wet when it finishes. Everything sounds fine it just don't spin. Based on your video it sounds like the clutch pads may be gone. Is that your guess too and I can I just tell by looking at them after disassembly? how much is spanner wrench?

@applianceassistant So I jumped in with 2 ft today! I bought a new transmission as my washer's shaft had rubbed down to a circle from wear and tear.

I went to my local appliance shop and I bought a tranny ($190 + tax)! It was pricey but so worth it! My wife and I read all the horror stories online with the new machines, so we wanted to stay with old trustee! I am so glad I worked on mine again (this time it was hear surgery). A MILLION THANKS!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!
