does anyone else feel like the reporter was trying to ask gotcha questions?? It seems like he was getting upset with Dr Paul's answers. It was a good interview though and i wish on Lame stream media would ask questions this tough to ALL the candidates including Pres Obama.
ron paul's answers are the most practical. protecting the border is important for defense and allowing ppl who are already here the option of full immigration solves much of the dilemma. anchor babies is more difficult to resolve because it's hard to distinguish between good people and the exploiters. that was the only answer he gave that was vague because there is no good solution at this time, and it's ok to say that.
as far as children of illegals...children r the future of the world, no matter where they are from. they don't have a say on how they were brought into this world. so as adults we should set a good example for them. we embrace them and raise them as good americans because this is their home and teach them to respect the laws and love this country.
toughen up the borders and give out working permits. i agree with that. anything wrong with that? no automatic citizenship. as an immigrant who came to this country legally, i had to wait to become a citizen, learn the language and take an oath. i also pay taxes, social security and medicare. when you've done that for several yrs then ur a true citizen. coz that's what average american citizens do.
