If they are mirror images of each other (which doesn't make complete literal sense anyway), then the closest IRL human analogue to that would be clones. The only naturally occurring example of human clones is... identical TWINS.

So, I think that the "twins" theory is an entirely logical way to interpret the "mirror image" thing. Not strictly mandatory, but (IMO) the most sensible explanation.

It was also used for a French movie with Latin lyrics for a movie by the same people who made the newest Mama Mia release. =)

I believe it was called "Loved you so long" about long-lost sisters, the movie is in French but has English subtitles. It's won alot of awards and was mentioned at the Oscars; I believe a piece of the score was played there too. ^_^

It's a very lovely song, world famious and Len and Rin do wonders for the emotion of it! ^_^ I'm quite surprised they pick up on the emotion so well, the person who made this was quite talented!

Mm, but they're just mirror images of each other. And since Rin was announced before Len, he is more technically Rin's mirror image(I think Len was announced just before the release;; maybe).

The "Kagami" in their name means mirror.

They're just most commonly known as twins because they look alike and have the same voice actor(actress).

And it was announced my the makers that they weren't meant to be twins, so their relationship could be anything.

I've read from some people that Crypton retracted the mirror images statement, that their last name was supposed to be a pun, and that Crypton hasn't actually made an official statement about them. I don't know if that's true either.
