Jakatta - Ever so lonely

I just ordered the visions album by Jakatta, and I was disappointed to find the only version of this song on the album was an "Afterlife Remix" which is no where near as good as this version.

Can somebody tell me if I got a dodgy copy of the album or if Jakatta did indeed put the remix of this song on the album instead of this original version?

@synthesizer301 I first heard this song in early 2002 believe it or not. I heard this version before I even heard the original Monsoon, version. I'm sorry to say it, but I don't like this version very much, I like the original version so much more, it's a bit faster, and generally I like it more.

sir i think you are asking a question that could be considered as a standard question for allmost all the music i have heard in the last 3 months. we rarely nowadays now where a song really originated from especially in the electronic/house/ambient genres. my sugestion is to try wikipedia first with the song then the artist or to join a blog that specializes in that specific music. hope this helps.

jakatta is a dj project :) in this genre many artists make such projects and hire some others artists for the vocals ;)

You should listen to American Dream and One fine day by Jakatta,Also Paul Van Dyk with "Buenaventura" . Whistling drive By Minimalistix and Bakerman By Shaun Baker. Enjoy Trance And House music. Its one of the music kinds that has class and Style. Not like the shit that is played today.
