It is very possible that this stuff is a work. That doesn't mean that the fights are choreographed or anything like that, it just means that the winner may be pre-determined. This could be done for a number of reasons. The promoter may want to hype certain individuals and possibly pad their records, or try to build a show that might never otherwise occur. That being said, I don't doubt these guys are legit bad-asses, but unless you're in the room with Dana and Brock or w/e you might never know.

it looked riged if you ask me you cant see it on this video, but just before the kick ben taps the cage with is foot showing pettis were too start the kick and move too the side and lowers is left gaurd. but too see it you need watch 3 sec before you cant see it on this video.

This isn't professional wrestling. Nothing is fixed in MMA. Just because some guy touched the cage doesn't mean anything. You touch ALOT of stuff when you're in a fight.

BH took his guard down cause he never saw the kick coming as Pettis was flying past him. It was timed perfectly by a PROFESSIONAL FIGHTER! Poor Ben never expected to get kicked because he thought AP was on his way down and wasn't expecting AP to jump/push off the cage.

This was an epic fight. Not just because it was the last fight, but because these two put on one hell of a show. The "Showtime Kick" was just the icing on the cake for the WEC. I wanna see a rematch in the UFC. Not because of the kick, because both of them deserved the win IMO. Granted, Pettis earned the belt last night but Bendo will be back stronger and more hungery. Thank you WEC.

If it had been on any one else but Bendo that would have been a KO and the KO of MMA history for a long long time. My mind where blow at the awesomeness of that parkour inspired head kick. Oh how you will be missed WEC, you will be missed.

@OneSeasonTalk very much agree...I've always been a fan of lighter weight divisions due to more quicker and exciting matches to watch...its just more explosive and "off the wall" type fights...lighter guys have more energy to do crazy but effective strikes, not to also mention grappling skills
