these cars are junk !!!!factory 5 didnt do there home work the kit is a nightmare i know iv built one.the kit is very crued.when you call factory 5 there lost,atleast for the gtm,i wouldnt give you five grand for the kit,waste of time

This car is retarded fast and handles very good, does 0-60 in 3seconds with a 400hp Vette engine. How would it be with a 500hp Vette engine or a 500hp GM crate motor.

@MegaRydog they are a kit car and the kit cost 19,990 with out engine, trany, wheels and tires, and, rear end all said and done it is about 50,000 if you go all out on a LS7 engine

@pikku81 I've seen 2 on eBay go for in the 40s. The nicest cars will usually go for more. 50-60k is do-able. But if a shop builds it for you be careful - you'll spend more money than you ever dreamed you would.... and usually much more than you can buy someone else's car for.

@bulldog32220 good luck with the G50 linkage and gearing n00b. Or better yet how about the door/window seals? Been there, done that. To make the car road worthy requires a virtual re-engineering, which is fine if you have the time, monkey and skills. For me, I'd rather buy a bike or an Ultima.

@jm431 The basic kit is $20,000. Paint work and wrecked C5 Vette is gonna push it up to $40,000. This guy is going to want his wrench time as well, I'm sure it's no less than $45k-$50k. I see them average out around $60k, though.
