I so want a tibetan mastiff! but the movie Man's Best Friend kinda put me off having one. Are they even available in the UK? i heard there a rare breed.

oh yes they are. They are a lovely breed but you have to be very focused on raising one as they are high attention required dogs

i heard they are very aggressive towards other people and dogs...

No, they are very friendly...

no, they re not agressive, but strangers have to watch their distance unless the dog approaches himself.. also they are not agressive towards other dogs if raised properly.. this dog has to have an orderly routine in his everyday life (walking, feeding) a lot of space.. it is not recommended for nervous or agressive people to own such a breed. this dog needs his personal space and time when he is resting.

otherwise a very healthy breed. mine had only a few skin infections so far - 14 y.o.
