  • Campaign for liberty is a true and principled cause. Ignorance is naïve and a true threat. We must counter special interests and ever expanding government bureaucracy that erode our freedoms and personal liberties. We must do our part and keep a guardian eye on what government is doing. We stand together for our liberties

  • Ron Paul Rocks!!!

  • Ron Paul advice would be disastrous at this time. We need to stop our financial institutions from collapsing and throwing us into a catastrophic depression.

Please visit my site for more details. It features Milton Friedman's analysis of the Great Depression and discusses why the Gold Standard was a failure.

  • .

    .

    .

  • Hebert hoover was a statist just like FDR just like Obama and Busch. If you really want to Fight GObal Poverty you admit that man did the most in that endeavor in the free society America once was, but now it collectivelist like the rest fo the world and this econ crisis is now huritng poverty on the whole planet your collective-ism has come home to roost.

  • Ron Paul is wonderful. I can only hope that Washington will listen to him more than they have in the past.

  • Ron Paul is a truly great american. He deserves all the support he can get;his message is the oldest one in the world.Freedom!Strength to Dr.Paul

  • Now that was a great set of interviews. You have found your calling. You go girl.

All you need is some good communication equipment and you could do the interviews remotely.

  • Ron and Ralph Fool's Overture. History recalls how great the fall can be, while everybody's sleeping the boats put out to sea. Borne on the wings of time, it seemed the answers were so easy to find. "Too late" the prophets cry, the island's sinking let's take to the sky. Called the man a fool, stripped him of his pride, everyone was laughing up until the day he died. And though the wound went deep, still he's calling us out of our sleep.

    Apocalypse Now

  • The U.S. Conrtitution is the Law of the land. The Federal Reserve Act and - more recently - the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq - violate the Constitution. They, who are Academics - should lend their voice and support the U.S. Constitution. If they can not go THAT far - then telling the Truth is also a good idea.

  • THE POWER LIES WITH THE PEOPLE, not the politicians...stop allowing us to be coerced

If weve been convinced that bureaucracy is stronger than we are and that we need to put down our picket signs and fold our arms and wait for change then we have been bought more than our politicians. Ashley Sanders

  • Ron Paul may have dropped his campaign for presidency but at least he did not drop his cause. Kudos for Ron Paul. Huckabee is doing a more subtle version of that.

  • OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I'm fucking sick of the hierarchical structures of the exploitative, capitalistic and oppressive system that shits out corporate politicians who use propaganda to convince the mass society that they are free..

    ..Free to obey

Viva liberty, viva equality -- FIGHT BACK.

    OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Run Ron Paul Run!!

  • I mean that's like calling a project to get hispanic-americans to the poll to vote for the democratic ticket "Ovamos."

  • oh, she didn't just say they "ronvoyed" from Wilmington...

That takes Ron Paulism to a whole new level of fanatitude.

  • Ronvoys were actual carpools that got people to the rally.

  • I was *so afraid* someone was going to confirm that.

    Oh my ;) that's just...precious.

  • Yep. Spontaneous creativity is a beautiful thing.

  • You've got to have the tri-cornered hat people! That guy was hilarious!

    Bob Barr '08!

Join Ron Paul's Campaign for Liberty!

I'm a red blodded American, Why are our leaders trying to piss off the Russians?

  • Correction, Marta. You identified Oklahoma state rep. Charles Key as "Scott" Key.

  • Hey, Marta, nice to see you made it to the Ron Paul Nation Celebration, the warm-up to the Rally for the Republic. But did you actually get to the Rally? It was awesome. It'd be good if you could post some interviews from there.

p.s. People came from all over the *WORLD* to attend!

  • Time to OBEY instead of Interpreting the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights INCLUDING the 10th Amendment!

Educate yourselves! READ THE FEDERALIST PAPERS and then throw out those tyrants who do not honor their oaths to defend the Constitution.

    Do NOT file your taxes!

  • Pretty sweet im still writing Dr. Paul in for President i dont care about the 2 puppets that the mainstream media chose to stuff down our throats. Congrats Ron Paul, and great video Marta.

  • Thanks for covering this.

A future where each human takes responsibility for themselves, and lives in harmony with each other human and the planet, free from tyranny is the only future I want.

    FREEDOM!

  • I'm surprised Marta couldn't get an interview with Ron Paul himself. I'm sure he must be inundated by interview requests from all the major networks all the time, since he's made such an impact on mainstream media.

I'm a constitutionalist, but I'm not a Ron Paul supporter. He's just another politician playing the Underdog card. These bastards are not on our side.

  • Great video!-Jamie

  • Ron Paul rocks!

    Thanks for posting this,Marta.

  • gnooze (the g is silent) reporting on the news that is silenced by the mainstream media

  • Good Job Marta. 5 Stars Keep Up The Good Work

  • I know lots of Dems for Ron Paul. Too bad we can't all get together and get this man as our leader.

  • Marta, thank you for covering this convention also. We need to have access to all points of view, not just those chosen for us.

  • Thank You Marta !

  • Read a book about National Socialism and then re-think your own actions and views!

    Ron Paul is my hero.

  • Thanks 4 covering the event Marta!! :)

  • Sigh.

Really, Paulites, things weren't all that hunky dorry in Colonial times, when people wore those hats. Things DO suck now, but the symbolism of going back to the 18th century is occasionally a bit... weak.

  • WileyCoyote69: I don't think folks are talking about scrapping progress and technology, they're talking about philosophy and ideals. Our country has misplaced its integrity and it's time to do something about getting it back in place.

  • You mean like slavery and no votes for women? Unregulated dominance of husbands over wives and not allowing the wives to own property or live independent lives? Institutionalized scorn for anyone not of English descent? Strict conservative family structures only?

A lot of myths have been generated about how rosy life was back then, and not all of it is just about technology. For some reason, people tend to generate fake nostalgia for times they didn't even live through.

  • Wiley: Of course not. The framers of the Constitution & Bill of Rights were philosophically enlightened & forward thinking. They purposefully left room in the law for adjustments to accommodate a more evolved society. But they'd turn over in their graves if they knew what was happening, today.

We've got a puppet government jumping at the ends of strings held by corrupt polititians & greedy corporations. Our country & its Constitution have been illegally compromised.

    Corporatism = fascism

  • "You mean like slavery and no votes for women? Unregulated dominance of husbands over wives and not allowing the wives to own property or live independent lives? Institutionalized scorn for anyone not of English descent? Strict conservative family structures only?"

How much of that is in Ron Paul's platform (ie the Constitution)? NONE OF IT. So don't go making things up.

  • mikma was here

  • Organjic was there :)

  • I love your editor, they do a great job.

  • great vid Marta.

    Thanks

  • RON PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ron paul is an idea

  • Ron Paul is much more than an idea, he is a visionary, a patriot and a real American that will address anyone and any issue. Mccain is a patriot but the only thing we owe him is respect and not our votes. Palin and Obama make this election historic but I can't vote Mccain because he is against doing anything about the "Geniocide In Darfur" plus Mccain before he was the nominee he missed some debates and never explained why.

  • Martha, so awesome to see you at the Ron Paul Event!

  • Good work Marta.

  • Great coverage, Marta! I guessing the dude with the tricorn is from Oz.

  • good job marta

  • Fight. Stand and be heard. You only have one life to be proud of.

Do you want to look back someday on your deathbed, as your grandchildren suffer under the thumb of tyranny, that you did nothing, that you said nothing, that you did not RESIST?

THE ANSWER TO 1984 IS 1776.

  • I'm glad the gnooze is covering this event.

End the FED! End the FED! End the FED!!

  • Wow, that freaked me out. Do not drink any Kool-Aid Marta!

  • thanks again = good job!

  • Anyone who gives Alex Jones the time of day is a Nazi.

  • I try not to go negative, but if you aren't paying attention to all sides of this unfolding story, you're not a true Patriot, even though you think you are.

    Peace!

  • alex jones is a 911 liar and a coward.

  • have you seen the interview of Cage, on Canadian television, about his Architect point of view on WTC 1, 2 , 7 collapses?

  • All of this nonsense has been debunked a million times over. Popular Mechanics. The loose nuts interview a janitor at TWC and a bureaucrat at underwriters laboratories as their "experts".

  • Nonsense, wow, I could have sworn there were questions and that's even admitted in the recent NIST press hearing a couple days ago about WTC 7, on c-span, did you see that?

Secondly, I subscribe to Pop Mechanics for years, their attempt at debunkinh it was very skillful at illogical statements , you know, like bully tactics, ad hominem attacks, straw man arguments, etc.

Running out of characters, but let me ask, you see the interview with Richard Cage on Canadian TV yet, or what?

  • They just finished an investigation of WTC 7 and disproved the loose nuts theories.

  • where is the info on the 'new' investigation on 7. you got a link?

  • There was an article on this on the BBC News website a few weeks ago. The investigators concluded that it was the fire that brought down the building.

What a joke! The building was imploded.

  • Youtube seems to be blocking links so you'll have to Google it.

  • You probably think that I was the one who gave you "thumbs down" on your comment. It wasn't me. If you want to believe the "official account" of 911, that's ok with me. I guess you didn't see what I saw. I saw controlled demolition, at 1,2&7. You saw something else. They were full of asbestos, and worth more demolished than when they were standing. But you wouldn't get that bit of news, would you? Did you know Larry Silverstein personally? Or, did you know who he is at all?

  • I see no thumbs down. They destroyed the headquarters of the U.S. economy to make money? Riiiggghhht.

  • Ok fine. Maybe YT shows you a different screen than me. But, you didn't answer my question: "Who is Larry Silverstein"? On that tack, who is Malcolm P. Bush? I know you, I can see you, and I will be your undoing. You wanna debate that? Ya' fucked up at New York, you wanna try it again? Don't back down now jerricho, you've already shit in your own punch bowl. It's on now! You ready? HaHa! See 'ya in the street, sucker!

  • Don't get too excited, your tinfoil sombrero might fall off and the governments mind control waves will be able to get through.

  • The headquarter of the US economy was destroyed? Explain that please.

  • The World Trade Center was not just a catchy name, it was the center of world trade.

  • No, it wasn't

  • You retards will believe anything. That is why you always have been and always will be slaves.

  • Jerricho68: If UA-93 was flown into a field in Pennsylvania, as they say it did (i.e. "Let's roll!"), then please explain to me the presence of a discrete secondary debris field eight miles from the primary crash site?

  • You have no proof of any of this. Some cowardly community college dropout dons a tinfoil fedora and lies to you and you lap it up. Keep taking your meds and let the big people handle the big stuff. alex jones is a Nazi through and through, but is a craven coward. Only 5 foot nothing 80 pound women are in danger from this gender confused deluded man with manboobs.

  • Wow, he hasn't hurt any women; but her words keeps the masses a sleep [malakin, michelle].

  • @ Jerricho68

Do you have any proof of Alex Jones being a Nazi?

  • alex jones isn't a nazi, he's just an idiot.

  • You're right.

Anyone who is making all that effort educating the ignorant must be an idiot.

Anything he said can be checked on the internet.

You have to do a little work to find out the truth.

But this government knows American people care more about what is on the tube tonight, than how their country is runned (or do I have to say ruined?).

  • Thats exactly what i did - and the truth didn't land on alex jones' side

  • Good points Ron, thanks Marta.

  • YEAH RON PAUL!

  • Who is Chuck Baldwin?

  • He's the Constitution Party's candidate for President.

  • He probably thinks it's better to try to capitalize on the success of the enthusiasm generated during the primary run in order to get some grassroots activities going than to run a futile campaign as an independent.

You just spend money and you won't get much coverage. There were many supporters who became state delegates and have exerted influence on the platform. The presidential race is always a lock for the entrenched two-party establishment anyway.

  • Awesome coverage, Marta! Thank you. I love how you're getting out to these events and letting people speak about what they're doing. Obviously it's different than the studio show, but it's much appreciated to see such reports from an independent journalist such as yourself. Mainstream doesn't cover any of this ever.

You do a great job in poking fun at everyone in politics with your show, but these field reports are really interesting and fun as well.

Gotta love the hat guy! "It's a hat." : )

  • 1. Alright all my little ones,..love love

    2. Ron Paul's wife is a member of Easternstar which is a group connected to the shriner freemason, which are connected to the Jesuits, who control the Pope and all the worlds gold. Ron is working for the Pope (1213 treaty)

    3. Gold is to be used for Wilhelm Riechs cloud busters.

    4. The Jesuit owned Food & Drug Administration had Wilhelm Riech imprisoned and killed.

  • "Sic Semper Tyrannis"

    - Brutus, after killing Caesar (allegedly)

  • Super coverage, Marta! It's great having you out there when the rest of us can't be. I was never a Ron Paul supporter, but you sure can't argue some of the points he fights for.

  • You're my new Hero!

  • Ron Paul gets painted as a nut, but he actually has some good points and ideas. I would love to see more freedom in this country and more attention paid to our own infrastructure.

  • I like how no one really wanted to chant with that guy.

  • I chanted with him, and I'm sitting at a computer in California.

  • great have a SS number burning.

  • the inevitable moronic nazi reference...

  • Yeah very cool to see you cover this! I'm curious what you thought about it, you look a little weirded out by tri-corner hat guy lol...

As for the comment below, Social Security is more or less gone, spent. By the time young people today retire they won't see a sent of it(RP was always against the spending of it). Phasing out social security is on the bottom of Paul's to do list and he would not kick people off of it. He merely wants to give young people the option of opting out of it :)

  • Hello,Marta,You were popping your mic at the begining. But in a cute way.

  • ron paul is alright by me.

  • RP FOR PREZ!

  • Awesome Marta. You are doing something ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, CNN and MSN won't. Ron Paul is still extremely relevant.

  • Wow. Coverage of something outside the 2-Party Box. Cool. :)

  • This election is going to be largest mud slinging contest yet.

  • Exactly right! Let's take care of America first!

  • woo hoo marta my dear, thanks for covering the event!!! you rock.

The guy in the middle said it best: "Freedom brings people together"

  • Great to see you covering this Marta!

I certainly dont agree with everything Ron Paul stands for, like the no social security whatsoever, but he was by far the most sane, decent and sound candidate in the race imo.

    C'mon now! No really! :)

  • Non-exsistant gods didn't give us shit. We did, the ability to treat each other as equals did.

  • which is why i'm not a ron paul supporter - he supports freedom and christianity, not just freedom.

  • He supports LIBERTY and the Constitution which represents it and SHOULD safeguard it. His own personal beliefs are his own. And the Constitution & more specifically, the 1st amendment of the Bill of Rights, does protect his right to do so. Besides, I didn't know there were any atheists running, are there? He believes in separation of church & state, as did Jefferson & most of our founders.

  • jefferson didn't believe that it was ok for the government to show support to any religion or particular brand of a relgion. Read Ron Pauls article on "the war against religion". He accuses secularists of being biased agaisnt christianity. This is a common delusion religious nutters have - when a group criticizes the governments endorsement of any religion - they are sure that their religion is being discriminated against.

  • There is no Atheists running because there is a bias against that group. In a recent poll atheists came in below muslims and homosexuals in how many americans would consider voting for a member from that group.

  • driubi - I'm an anti-theist, and as you have correctly pointed out, there is a great bias towards such people from the US electorate. So if you HAVE to be a theist to get elected, what sort of theist should we anti-theists seek? One that respects and obeys the Constitution and won't abuse their position and shove religion down our throats. Ron Paul is such a man.

  • I disagree with you. Read Ron Pauls "War on Religion" piece. Ron Paul also co-sponsored the Houses of Worship Political Speech Protection Act, which would make it easier for religious organizations to exert influence in Washington without losing their tax exempt status. He also believes that jefferson would be furious at the hostilities towards religion (hostilities being atheists saying that its inappropriate for the government to put up christmas scenes because it endorses christianity).

  • Well, this is what Jefferson said about religion.

"[The Clergy] believe that any portion of power confided to me, will be exerted in opposition to their schemes. And they believe rightly; for I have sworn upon the altar of god, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man."

  • Ron Paul always opts to put these matters into the hands of local governments. This would be a disaster. Atheists are minorities in this country, and our rights could be stifled dramatically more than they already are if local majorities decide to enact their "morality" at the expense of our rights. I have heard ron paul urging evangelicals to push for abortion issues going to the state, because they could win a few battles there. I'm not impressed

  • I get it. Instead of a few random local governments taking away a few rights here and there we should have the federal government take away everybody's rights! That is so much more efficient! You have this tyranny thing down!

  • @ driubi

The local government would be run by local people.

Everyone could (and should!) participate in that.

Who cares about the government in Washington, when there is no election?

They don't really care about you also.

    They don't know you.

    You are just a number.

If you think you pay taxes in order to be taken care of, you're on the wrong track.

    Tey only care about themselves.

  • Oh please. Taxes do nothing for us? that's a little extreme. The medium we're using for this conversation wouldn't have been possible without tax dollars. Without this medium a Ron Paul would have gotten nearly no support in the election. Also, if your going to argue that as an Atheist my rights would be better under a local government, you might want to reconsider your logic. If my rights are being abused locally I can move up the chain of government to make my case.

  • @ driubi

You give half of your money to the government.

They have to pay themselves, their buildings, their war. And what is left you get back in a form you have could pay yourself.

    Your rights are abused alright.

If you use a camera in a public place, or

if you know your constitutional rights you are considered a terrorist.

They could lock you up as long as they want, without a lawyer.

Not one cent from tax money is used for Ron Pauls campaign.

    The internet represents freedom.

  • the internet wouldn't be around with out the government. You're making this into an extreme black and white thing - and its not. Whether or not our rights are being abused now (i'd say they are) doesn't legitimize the absuses that would occur under ron pauls brand of government.

  • There would be computers. And it's a small step connecting them.

Ron Paul only supports the constitution.

He never said I'm going to do this, or that.

    Only to restore the constitution.

The main laws are you can't use violence against other people, may not steal, or violate someones property.

    People would be self governed.

A big government has never enough power.

So government has to be really small to let us keep our rights.

There would be no abuse by any government.

  • "There would be no abuse by any government."

you are delusion if you actually believe that.

Also without government projects computers wouldn't be where they are today. Why do you hate the government so much that you can't give it credit where its due?

  • Government suppresses development, ideas, inventions and employment.

    Some people had great ideas.

But there is always a law which says you can't do with your own property what you like to.

And as always government wants a part of what you do, or what you earn.

Have you seen movies with Robin Hood?

There were king's soldiers collecting taxes.

Only to let the king live in prosperity.

    Exactly the same happens now.

Yes, you could say I hate the government from the bottom of my heart.

  • have you seen what percentage of the governments budget is spend on the branches? Its a very very small percentage. Is it too much, yes - but to to portray them as "kings" is a bit of a stretch.

  • No it s the total cumulative effect, small governement is beautiful, we need 1% of what we have now, anything more then we should let it collapse, we'd be better off without if we can't get the16th repealled and tax thru states we will never get control of the beast and we shoul just let it die. When it falls apart like soviet union will will have local gov to down size and have our free society - either way the state facism is dead it only a question if they will reduce it while they can.

  • You cannot say with certainty that the internet wouldn't have come about. In fact private individual people, companies and such may have developed it more efficiently.

You're assuming that the govenrment granted us an amazing development.

  • Why do you keep saying that the internet wouldn't be around without the government? Free markets have been what has moved the internet. Microsoft, Dell, Cisco Systems are the businesses that should be credited....unless you really believe that Al Gore created the internet. Sheesh!

  • did you read what i said? free markets are good at improving things and making it affordable for the masses. Also I suggest you look up information on Al Gore - he actually was partially responsible for speeding up the development of what the public knows as the internet today via government funding.

  • They make the attack into a case of person discrimination that isn't there. There is no Atheists running because there is a bias against that group. In a recent poll atheists came in below muslims and homosexuals in how many americans would consider voting for a member from that group.

  • "jefferson didn't believe that it was ok for the government to show support to any religion or particular brand of a relgion."

I NEVER said so. I know Jefferson DID NOT believe this. And neither did Madison or most of the early founders. I agree with you.

I respect others' right to worship as they see fit but I don't endorse "organized religion," tho I consider myself a spiritual person & have my own personal beliefs I try not to push on others.

We're ALL equally protected under the 1st A!

  • Fantastic report! VIVA la r3VOLution!

  • Man I can't believe I is the first one to write some thing Hi marta your the great one :-) Mike.......
