i want this mix u made not the original. in the original this part is only in the first 8 minutes until the man starts talking and then it changes from ur version to the fast talking man saying "heavy bass"
i think in your description you ment you have 15.5kW RMS. 1.55kW is only 1500w. i can make it with one woofer. but if i see what you have... wow...impressive.
1500watts is 1 subwoofer. an extreme example but mtx jackhammer is 12000. Ihave 1000 wats is my room with 2 woofers. that guy has 3 boxes with three woofers + two other for what i can cee. even if you take 400 watt for a woofer he has 2000watts. and 400 watts for a woofer isn't much
The two subs are 400w each. All of the other woofers together add to 750w. I hate how people think Watt statistics are so important, they really aren't. I have a 15" L& in my car in a 1" thick custom box, and hit the mid 140's DB with it. My room hits the low 130's DB, but guess which one sounds by far the most impressive. I'd rather have 10x the quality at a loss of 10DB than the extra 10db and 10x inferior quality. The L7 is not a bad sub, but this makes it sound trash.
i had two 12" subs with pretyt much extreme excursion. they also had a completely flad "cone" well iwasnt acone at all. juts flat. both of them were testproducts os not yet released to the public. however i played them so hard they evetually got deformed :P so they obiosly needed more development.
Nice speaker system :D what subwoofers are those two? i have only audio pro crappy sub :D... and two magnat vintage bookself speakers xD.. lol.. but mayby that is enough for me because my room is so small :D.. about 7 m2.. i bet those two subs arent "shit" :D... i cant even break my windows with my sub xD.. sorry my bad english :S.. do you have angry neighbors? :D...
You need to place 1 sub in the corner of the room and the other in the opposite corner, not both in the center of the wall you will get much better results.
Not in this room. It's too small and quite boomy as it is, let alone when I put the sub the corner. Plus there's no other space to put the speakers. The center of the back wall is the best solution in my bedroom. In my newest video you can see that both sub are on the floor 3ft apart from one another, rather than on top of each other. This seems to be the best result, but only just.
.. Just curious, i dont realy have too much of an idea, but how healthy is it to have those subs next to al your equiptment? With all the vibration, it cant be too good over time can it?
So did you ever find the name of the song or album? I love the song and would like to have it. I would like to hear the good quality version on the file on my stereo and in my truck. Computer speakers don't give any justice. - 92K1500 (ROE member)
I've had a little look around and found a track list, but I could only guess which is which. Some details: It's mixed by MANIFEST for RENEGADE HARDWARE. The CD is called RENEGADE HARDWARE SHOWCASE which is part of their magazine, and is also a free mix that you can download. This was issue 90 (KNOW 90). The download isn't active though, I had to use uTorrent.
I want to have some towers made kind of like yours, but I want to use car audio equipment. I want to use a set of kicker RS65.2 components and a kicker c12 subwoofer in each one.(each tower will have two tweeters, two crossovers, two midranges, and one sub. Could you recomend me a stereo to run it with? The speakers are 150 rms and the sub is as well. They are all 4 ohm as well. So I'll need a stereo that does 150wrms X 6. I was hoping you could recomend one for me. Thanks
There are two things. One, that I'm not really into the car audio market yet. I prefer to work on my stereo at home. Two, car stereos aren't the best idea to use in a house. It's not what they're built for and won't perform so well. You'll also have to use a amplifier for a car to best match the speakers, and find a power converter to run the whole lot. There are still other factors too, which makes it into a more awkward job.
Those subs are discontinued, so make sure to not sell them anytime soon. Your horns/midrange speakers look very flashy. I think you have achieved a niche with the look of your system. Could you tell me the power output of the system and tell me what reciever you use to power them?
The 4 speakers add up to 750W RMS, and the subs add up to 800W RMS. 750 + 800 = 1550W Continous/RMS power. However, note that these speakers in particular are renowned to be very good with bass output/Sound Pressure levels for what they are and their power rating. Peak power is at least 3100W, but that's a measurement I prefer not to use, especially when it comes to car audio crap. Too many people inflate these ratings and don't take into account distortion levels.
Holy shit your speakers are fuckin amazing. I'd love to have a rig like that. Music is probably in the top 5 most important things in my life! 5 Stars for you man nice work!
Thank you very much. I am a fanantic with all types of music. I can't spend more than a couple of hours a day with out some form of music. I also crave very deep and pressurising bass, and a very detailed, revealing mid and high end frequency reproduction. But the need to gain both very high quality and detailed sound and a great low end ability is a very costly hobby. I simply cannot afford the true system that I want.
