Mostly,songs would be strange ,and the melody would not as smooth as English versions for the pronounciations are different.Besides,most of Chinese singing skills are obviously different from people in English speaking areas.So,it doesn't matter who sings the song

Technically, both Lea Salonga's version AND Christina Aguilera's are the originals. Lea sang the film version and Christina sang the pop version, which played during the credits. I don't know why they bothered to make a pop version. Lea's is beautiful and would have sold the soundtrack with or without Christina.

during the first part of the harmony, i thought coco lee was doing second voice, then i saw the video and it was lea doing it! SHE'S AMAZING!! they blended so well because of her. <3

Lea Salong's version is fof the OST of the animated movie while Christina Aguillera's version is the commercial ( record release)...both versions are good though..

i think lea salonga wouldn't like this tempo,kk, coco seems more got used to it tho.

anyone noticed 2:32? lea sang a bit flat at the chest and head voice changing point..but still, i love both of them, just the tempo..arghhh.. the tempo sounds rush and ridiculous for this song..could have made it better..

now im wondering who's the director for this show..

@TAROlovex3 the purpose of making it fast paced is to represent the confusion and beating of her "mulan's" heart in the movie. That is why it is more fast paced than the english one
