It would have come across with more grace & humility - if you would have shown some interest in the merits, like the instrumentation, vocal techniques or energy exhibited in our version, here, as part of your query. I feel that music appreciation should be something where you're trying to go beyond your sameness zone, an "expanding your horizons"-type- of-thing. But nice that you like the song in some form, whether that be something that already got more than enough exposure, as it is, or not.
