Bush Tax breaks, Obama Tax breaks, Outsourcing and Corporate Bailouts have crippled the nations economy.

Why does the tea party hate americans?

Why is giving money to people who need food and shelter (ie people who will spend and increase consumerism) seen as senseless spending.

Bush and Obama's corporate welfare has killed the nations consumers, anyone with half a brain and a mild interest in macro-economics could see that, right?

@Noahedwinbeach2 Well, I watched Boehner in action during Obama's health care summit with the Republicans. The only thing Boehner did was point out how many minutes, the Dems were taking. And Obama just "bitch slapped" him back into his corner. I think, Boehner is a really nice guy. But doubt, he is up to the job of taking on the Obama administration.

If you want VAT, repeal the income tax in the Constitution first. VAT, however, turns a 35% tax of income tax into a 50% tax added to every consumer item. All taxes are paid by consumers.

We all know that the VAT would be applied to EVERYTHING. Gasoline, clothing, food, etc. It's bad enough with people having to choose between one necessity and eating over the next week already.

Then there are the seniors and disabled. We are already looking at being out on the streets with Social Security going belly up. We're tax exempt now, on fixed incomes. The VAT would kill us.
