Hi lilyevelyn17, In this video used the AKASHIYA Brush "あかしや 水彩毛筆【彩】　ThinLINE 墨色". But I don't recommand this brush. Because it's ink can not be correct by my the "white out" "Lion White out (Misnon)".

I created this video long time ago...I can't remember what tools I used. Maybe it will be a good idea to create another video like this one (drawing black and white picture). But I want to finishe my other videos first. I'll inform you if I did create another video like this one.

I definitely prefer drawing traditional to digital, and your work is awesome! How did you go about recording yourself though?

Thank you. Yes, me too. I do both digital and traditional ways. Digital is fast, progress much faster, and many variations., but traditional is very interesting and much more fun to draw! It's very fun to whatch drawing process. I also sub your channel too.

I recorded this video by my (6 yrs old) digital photo camera. It can record video, but only for 20 mins. Needs to stop every 20mins... needs to copy the data from SD-card to PC... so many troubles!!! And the resolution is very poor. But after May 2011, I purchased a new webcam. So now I can do recoreding directly from my webcam to PC, and create 720p HD quality video.

@willmanga Hi Willmanga, for using G-pen, 1st make sure you use the right tools and right manga paper.

Tips for smooth lines... umm...I alway do some practice on copier paper (normal paper for copy machine) before do the real inking on my manga paper. Another tips.... drawing lightly, power less, it feel link skating on ice...

In this video I mainly use the "Akashiya Sai ThinLine Watercolor Brush Pen" that is the silver thin brush pen in video I used for drawing the hair part. I love that pen touch but I found out this pen ink can not be erase..... too bad!! So I need to search for new pen brush to fit my needs.
