I am a full blood Native-it is nice to hear this song in this language.Although I am not Cherokee I respect that they sang this in thier language.It was sung during the trail of tears.they were forbiden to sing thier traditional songs.this was adapted and sung. Like traditional Natives--I cling to my culture and english is the only foriegn language I know.
