Good info.. All you haters go fuck yourself. You have no clue what you're talking about. This is only a single ply shirt. It doesn't give you as much as you assholes think. And it takes alot to master a katana bench shirt. Most of you jerk offs couldn't handle it. All you critics are probably 150 lb. Geeks that can't bench over 200 lbs. With or without a shirt. When you graduate to man weights you need equipment to prevent injuries & prolong your lifting career. So go find a planet fitness some
You can say it's not cheating all you want, but never compare your numbers to someone who uses one. I got a bench shirt to safeguard my shoulder which I injured years ago, and without it I max 280 with it 365. That 365 feels a lot easier and safer than the 280 too...
The numbers just don't lie, even though the shirt helps prevent injuries, it provides a huge mechanical advantage so you your bones can lift weights that your muscles cannot.
If you cant lift it on your own, you shouldnt be doing it.
This just promotes bad form. if your using this to get past a rut, you are becomming dependent on it as you are not developing all your muscles properly
If you don't like gear compete raw or if your a true badass you compete raw and geared. Personally using gear allows me to do 4 meets in 4-5 months instead of just 2 raw in the same time period. Plus the lifter makes the gear not the other way around haters. Try just hopping in a deadlift/squat suit and get folded up let alone not hit pr's in it till you learn it
How can you say that its not cheating? its the same as me saying Im gonna use mechanical cylinders to help me becnhpress so I dont hurt my joints and tear muscles.
Some suits you need to have atleast 500 pounds on the bar just to be able to make it touch youre chest with the suit on. Even the world record holder of benchpress gets almost 400 pounds out of hes suit(s)
the reason u use heavy weights is because of the shirts.
its not like ure strong enough to bench 400kg so u need a shirt to support it, no. you lift a good amount but u use a shirt to make u lift even more. its far more dangerous than without
@rantanen1 I'm not going to argue with a moron whose never worn a bench shirt in their life. I only wear single ply bench shirts, over single ply shouldn't exist or be allowed in competitions, because there is almost no work into putting that up. It is nowhere near as dangerous to use a bench shirt than it is to not, you have more support. It's sad how kids hardly workout or have ever seen a bench shirt in real life, or worn one are the ones bitching. Same principle as wrist wraps.
I'm actually getting metal hooks surgically attached to my arms where I can latch cables connected to very large cranes. Fuck shirts the bench world record will be mine...
how the hell do you breath good god that looks like some type Asian torture suit

@Zenjamin that's completely false. shirts don't promote bad form. they help lifters push past their natural strength limits.

There is an easier way, dont wear an f**ing bench shirt, why would anyone do it ?

Shirts aren't cheating, neither are suits. At higher weights you need them for support or you can really damage your joints and or tear muscles.
