security guards have no right to arrest you or touch you at all they only have the right to call the police when they see something . dont run away dont talk to them just shut up and walk away at a normal pace . if they touch you defend yourself if you dont have the ability to defend yourself then running is probably best.

This way they will be completely in the wrong.
I have been in situations where I have been assaulted by business owners and security and have used forced to defend myself and when the cops came they sided with the business owner & security.
Try to remember..."Kill them with kindness". No matter what they say or do to you just be nice and they will look like the bad guys :)

@saymikehawkfast Not true, it all depends on the laws of the state you are living in. Here in Florida, security has the right to prevent a crime or trespassing against their client's property through use of justifiable force. Justifiable means that they aren't allowed to like beat you down for trespassing but if you are non compliant you can be touched. You can be detained by a security guard for trespassing and if you try to fight back a security guard has the right to meet force with force.

depends on what kind of security company it is. If its an armed service, Guess what, there pretty much like cops and can use lethal force if needed. Security officers are there for security purposes, if you need to be escorted off the property, and you resist, yea they can throw you a beating and then press charges after doing so for public nusence and property damage.
