That was epic match, but all i saw was backhoe getting out microed. He should of never pulled back his reavers at the end he lost 2 reavers to one scarb. It just came down to microing. The asian commentary sounded so more hype though.

No he wouldn't have, Backho would have crossed Stork's T, and any units coming in from the top flank would be approaching in a file, coming into range 2-3 at a time, while backho's dragoons would all have been in range.

Wow epic win. Stork caught backho in a perfect position in the final encounter. Backho had a reaver and shutter out away in storks base. He had a small group at his 2nd expansion that arrived too late to help. He unfortunately lost both reavers to one scarab shot. He made the tech switch to Templars preparing for a longer game but stork caught him before they had enough energy to cast. Super micro by stork though.

Backho made a few critical errors too. He needed to push out during his first successful reaver harrass, while stork was moving troops to take care of it his front door would have been too weak to defend against an all out push. He didn't. Moments later, stork tried some obscure flanking maenuvre that left his forces in a narrow choke which would have been easy picking for Backho. Backho pushed out but for some unknown reason, retreated. His reaver micro was inferior during the large battles.

Defintely. Backho needed to push out during his drop but didn't. The flank attempt by stork was weird, it left him wide open and caught in a choke. I couldn't understand why backho pulled out then, it was a guaranteed win for him in that position

Man, Cholera's talked about how toss is the most able to turn things around and come back, and how PvP is the most back-and-forth mu, but this match DEFINITELY proves that to the extreme. It also shows the insanity of reavers to the extreme :). My only dissapointment is that Stork didn't kill that Reaver at his protected expo with his probes ;).

it is that close in non T mirror match ups if you try to expand and your opponent puts that money into forces and rams em down your throat you will lose unless your already ahead by alot on units

Yeah, it's hard to tell if clumping them like that is beneficial or not. The idea is to move all of the probes (or scvs or drones) away at the same time. If the reaver targeted a probe in the middle of the line, it will get blocked by the probes in the back of the line, making that shot a dud. In this game, though, stork's micro clearly backfired, and he lost 12 probes in one shot.

i dont think it was such a great comeback, Stork had an advatage at the start, after that he got a bit behind and with a well fought battle he overcame backho and kept his advantage. AT a point loocked like backo is still gonna win, but stork attacked and got the job done

I'm not sure I agree with Nathones about Stork having the superior tech. I think Stork just had a much better micro than Backho. You could see that Stork positioned his reavers very well during most of the engagements with Backho. That, I believe, is why Stork won.
