  • Something is wrong with mine. When I clicked on selection, like the one you can make a shape out of it, I cant get out of it. I clicked pen, new layer, exit out, but I cant get rid of it.

  • You talk and show things to fast. Good vid though. After I make the layers, and when I go on the 1st layer it won't let me draw anything. Nothing comes up. That's even after I've got it set to pen and set the colour.

  • Where can I download this program ?

  • I see that for example at 0:13, the line you drew gets thinner and vague at the end. I tried to get that same result using 3 different versions of pixia (including 3.3b which seems to have different options than yours) but it's no use. All lines I draw stay thick at the end =( What did you do to get the lines like that?

  • @UsuratonkachiXP Are you drawing with a mouse or with a tablet? It's possible with a tablet, but not with just a mouse.

  • @benakittie Ohhh I see! I don't have a tablet ^^; Thank you very much!

  • @UsuratonkachiXP lol it's fine. The one I'm using right now is a pen tablet from bamboo. Not the fun version. You can find them for a pretty good deal on amazon! =D

  • @benakittie Is this a good solution painting program in case you don't have the funds for Photoshop?

  • @krocialblack I think it's a good beginning painting program if you're starting out using a graphic tablet. I've tried GIMP and to be honest it took me a while to try and figure that one out. I didn't like it so much, but I don't really like photoshop too much either. Right now I'm totally in love with SAI. ^__^ It does cost a lot, but not as much as photoshop ($50 I think) But I got a Corel Paint Shop Pro X2 for like $30 off of amazon.com and it comes with Corel Painter which was pretty good.

  • @MrGman000 I'm glad I could help. It's not really professional and just the basics, but I hope it was helpful. I've been using it less and more of SAI instead. I might try to make another though.

  • Thanks for this. Do you happen to have the Gonta aka 'gtProg' plugin for pixia? I can't find any live links for it....cheers

  • @thelongarmofthelawof Ahhhh...sorry, I don't know what that is. > . < I used TipCam if that's helpful to you. I went back and added the voice.

  • @benakittie thanks, it's cool, I found it on an old computer :) It's some nice plugins someone made for pixia

  • @thelongarmofthelawof Oh, okay. That's cool. Sorry I couldn't help more. ^__^;;

  • What version of Pixia did you use? Please let me know!!

  • @LightningKitty1 ver.3.3b if that helps. I didn't like the newer version.

  • @benakittie Oh, thank you! I have version 4.70 -_-'

  • @LightningKitty1 Oh wait! Do you know where I could download version 3.3?

  • Hm, that's weird. I think the version I have is 3.3

  • Hello. I find your tutorial quite useful. Which version of Pixia did you use? Because when I saw the Preference on the Undo count times, yours have more tabs than mine. You got Advanced Options 1 and 2 whereas mine was only Advanced Option. Mine is version 4.7.

  • @caterpillartomoko I have ver. 3.3b I think it's a bit older than the recent version they might have.

  • Small mistake I noticed, you want it at least 350 dpi, it's important if you ever plan on printing or anything like that.
