i climbed these trees all the time when i went down to belize its not very hard but climbing down hurts like hell on your ribs

Great job finally getting the courage to sit down in the fronds, as I have done a few times when I climbed palm trees in Florida. The fronds of many large type palms, such as the Coconut Palm are very strong and will easily hold the weight of an average adult.
