Jlo was a dancer on In living color then she left & went on the Janet Jackson tour. During that time she auditioned for some acting roles & when she was on tour they call 2 do an audition. Janet told Jennifer that it was a chance for her 2 B on daytime TV so she did it. Also this is not the only episode she is in. I think she is in all of them execpt the last one. Theres only like 10 episodes and her parts are real funny. You can hear that Bronx accent. I have not seen any clips of Hotel Malibu.

oh thank you so much for the info. I always thought jen start on music thing after selene inspired her, well I just remember her as an actress before yes from tv series till some of her movie the cell u-turn anaconda etc thing than she start singing her hit like *if you had my love*

I was a fan of J.Lo's back in the Fly Girl days, and I used to watch this show because she was on this show, this show was the ish! Jen was fierce even back in the day.

@SuniDays87 Those are both shows that were CBS that J Lo was on early in her career. They were both canceled. I never saw Second Chances, but Hotel Malibu was very enjoyable, although J Lo didn't have a big part.
