The Message of a song is central to Hip Hop and what should be most important to every Hip Hop Head. Jay Z's message is a MESS. Da truth's message is MESSIANIC. Each and everyone of us have our struggles. Some are more obvious than others. I remember when I first got saved I threw out all of my secular Hip Hop albums except for one. While listening to it one day the Lord opened my ears and I heard the artist talk about "burning the Bible." Well that is all it took and that one was tossed in the garbage. As we grow in Love with God. Our Hate for sin and distaste for the things of the world will grow as well. We need to pray for them and ourselves.
