i agree ebay/paypal robs sellers blind. their pushing 20%. to hell with ebay and the billions the make annually. what was it last year ebay made like 7 billion? i had to sell some stuff because i'm poor and need money. ebay/paypal robbed me blind on stuff i purchased on ebay then later sold for pennies on ebay. paypal makes a percentage off payments. THIS IS NOT RIGHT! F*CK PAYPAL! charge for the money transfer but - you dont deserve a percentage. paypal - what is this percentage bs? F*CK YOU.
Why should the buyer have to incur the cost of express mail, especially if the item is not expensive? The seller should be able to ship cheaper and pass the savings on to their customer. Ebay should stay out of the shipping aspect. I would even go as far as questionaing its legallity. Now ebay wants to collect money from shipping, when an item sells??? WTF!!! This is a rip off. As if shipping costs are part of a sellers profit.

If a buyer messages me and sounds like a lowball prick I block them immediately I don't care anymore.These buyers will hum and haw all day long and try to get a full refund even tho the item was "as described"

the ebay fee structure is meant to screw the people, you can get charged a final value fee, but if the buyer clicks NO to cancel the transaction, greedbay wont refund you the final value fee and you get screwed. Plus the fees are ridiculous
also if you dont have the funds in the bank,at the time when the fees come ,the bank then charges you £20,for a non transaction,i got charged 4 times for paypal trying and trying to get the funds,and the bank charging me £20 a time for £3 fee
I am using Ebid for a while now and all you can find in Ebid is poor quality and rubbish ,sellers try to sell poor stuff in Ebid that not even them would buy for them self ! Ebay have millions of items, it is number one not only for selection but for the quality too..I`ve purchased some reasonable items in Ebid but it took me hours and hours to find what i was looking for..The reason of all this is there aren`t enough sellers in Ebid. Maybe Ebid is good for sellers but not really for buyers.
paypal is owned by ebay,, ebay double dips,, ur charged ebay fees than charged AGAIN thru paypal!! Paypal even takes a percentage of shipping fees!!!!!! Thats why ebay wants you to offer free shipping, that way,,,u have to up ur start up price,inturn costing you more to list,,,then a higher sale price gives them a higher final value fee,, then they STILL get a percentage thru Paypal!
last time I sold on Ebay I sold 5 of 13 items for a combined 96.00 ...62.00 in fees and about 20 dollars in gas,.... total profit 14.00 ....this was in 2007,.... before that I sold in 2003 and sold 4 of 9 items for 1008 dollars, and profit of 953.00 .....I havent sold on there since,,,,and the moral of the story is the 2007 items sold were really worth as much or more as the the 03 sale and Im glad Paypal has screwed up everything
i have had complaints on my shipping rates,,,,BUT i have to add a handling to my shipping to make anything on those .99 cent auctions,,,,its like,,.15 cent to post a .99 cent item,,,but it jumps to .35 cent to post it over a dollar! if i got a buck in the item,,,How do i cover the fees on THAT auction listing,, PLUS the listing fees on the listings that DONT SELL????? wheres the profit?
@Dreambro1 my advice is to sell 10,00-20.00 items ..I always used this rule nothing much over that ,.... paypal will freeze your account,I used to sale twice a month IN 1999-2003 and averaged at least 1200.00 a month over my fees,shipping exc but since then FEEs have skyrocketed and paypal froze 5 of the 5 sellers Ive asked accounts thatve all sold lately ..man thats 100% of the sellers Ive asked .(they sell high ticket items) Id really quit selling on there alltogether if I were you
ecrater is free. And you items show up in Google searches. Also, ecrater allows you to use money orders, personal checks, Google checkout, and even C.O.D.s It's free to start your own store......so when someone does a Google search for your item, they can buy it now. Bye-bye ebay and Paypal scams.

Ebay owns Paypal ,that's problem ! Buyer pays / Paypal puts 21 day hold on FUNDS AND TELL YOU TO SHIP ! My item paid for, by my MONEY ! NO MONEY NO ITEM ! REFUND THE BUYER AND KICK GREEDBAY TO THE CURB !
