@gsxrkz No you can not make a medium into a small, it shares it's shell with the large. You can add thicker pads to dial in the fit and make it tighter.

@Newtonbaseball12 I wear a medium in both the Shoei X-12 and the Arai Corsair V. I would suggest you go with the small in the Corsair V, should be spot on.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the Gloss Black and the diamond black? I noticed when I checked out that gloss black, it was fingerprinting everywhere. Is the diamond black have a little gloss. I don't want a matte helmet. Thanks for the help.

is that basically just due to the shoei having a chin curtain and the arai not having one, or does the security of the visor and/or vents play a big role in the noise volume too? hopefully you know this and can answer, if not, no worries. thanks.

It has a lot to do with the side pods Arai uses on the exterior of the helmet.

It´s the (RX-7) Corsair "five".... Ever heard of roman numerals??

Hey numbnuts, it is the "V" not the roman numeral 5 (V). I was talking to someone at Arai today and he was calling it the "V" as well.

Listen Einstein, maybe you should ask the Arai rep you talked to, aswell as these guys, if they only stock Arai´s or whether they really know the brand they are selling.... The "V" is the evolution of the RX7-RR4. It´s AKA as the RX7-RR5. Arai simply decided to call it the V/5 for marketing reasons. So I´d do some reasearch before calling someone "numbnuts" and making a fool of yourself. The "Vee"...... ha,ha. :D
