To understand Portugal one must go there, hire a car then go into the interior. It is like stepping back in time. Only the Alarve and Lisbon areas are wealthy. There are many travelling types who seem to be outside of the mainstream of life in Portugal. They may not have abducted the girl in the true sense of the word, but if she had left the apartment in panic looking for her parents in the dark then any help offered to her she may have accepted. Social sevices and the police have not done their job.
If the McCanns had been parents with no connections, they would have lost their other children to a secret adoption court and they would have been prosecuted for criminal negligence, as it has caused Madeleine unnecessary injury.

So I hear from other people. Not just criminally negligent parents. They refuse to cooperate with the police. It means they know what happened. Some of their friends are abandoning them. They have contacted the PJ that they wish to change their statements. This is the most crucial development in the case.

We agree on that the dogs never lie. I have read about the crying too. Who the heck initiated the cover up? How high is he/she. Whoever that may be, it is a criminal offence and that person is liable. Think of the citizens who have given money to them. As you say a lot of questions that need to be answered. Yes, the crying heard, and never followed up. Why? Kate's conduct towards the children in the days leading up to the disappearance never examined properly despite her complaints about the children being hyperactive in her diary. The priest had openly said that he regretted to have anything to do with the Mccanns and that he had been misled, with offering specifics. He has probably been silenced by higher ups and gone into hiding.

Yes, and there was a mother in Amercia who killed her children because they were getting in her way. She cried murder too. There are many cases where the murderers gave "moving" press conferences and turned out to be the killers. Some even managed to cry, unlike the Team who has failed this test dismally. There seems to be no connection with Murat, but we don't know for sure.
