I swear, I never tire of hearing Jon Anderson, Rick Wakeman,Steve Howe, Bill Bruford, Chris Squire. I just wish they would all come together again--collectively!
Jon Anderson sounds as fresh and young as he did on that Fragile album!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RARE for a singer! This is unbelievable!
It was a summer festival and the first part of Return To The Center Of The Earth, so a lot of people were there just for fun and not specifically for these guys.
I was there and just beside us were two teens who kept listening to their f*cking iPods and chatting during all the show... At one point we even heard one saying : "Who cares? It's just a guy singing like a girl..." YES should be considered general knowledge, dammit! ;-P
There was an estimated 50,000 people in the audience, and in general they were very supportive. But as you might guess at a public show of this size, there is bound to be talkers in the audience.
i got to see yes on the union tour back in '91. hard to beat the drum duets with bruford and white, but i would LOVE to find wakeman's solo from awaken. thank you again for posting!
Hey True, sober8 was meaning September 2006. So far, nothing has been planned for this year other than Asia.. and we still don't have a Canadian date as I understand. As far as Jon is concerned, he has been doing the School of Rock shows. Wakeman is staying close to home.
By far the best moment of that evening. Levin's funk fingers had the sharpest sound ever, every strike was a TACK. The CGT was once again brilliant, and Wakeman on Grand Piano showed us the great performer he is. I had a great time, my girlfriend was holding on to me, wonderful.
Really realy good

I have never heard it explained that way before but it is absolutely right. YES should be common knowledge.

Awesome clip. I heard rumours Anderson & Wakeman were coming to Toronto in Sept. Anyone know if true or not.
