I cried when watching this. I will remember Bella. I have 2 dogs my own and I love them so dearly. I know about the intelligence of dogs but a friendship between a dog and an elephant is amazing. I HOPE THE BEST FOR TARRA. RIP BELLA.

I really hope that Tara isn't sick or something. My dog got really protective of my mom and she found out she had cancer. The dog was her shadow during all the treatments. My mom is okay now, but unfortunately the dog died.

I read in the newsletter that I get from the sanctuary that Bella fell into a large trench/hole and seemingly hurt her back when she did that. They found her in the hole after a day because Tarra alerted them by standing vigil over the hole

It is disheartening to hear such comments as those made by "thewheathead" (sure is) and "stickfinger." People with those attitudes are the ones that cause so much ill will and strife in the world. Must have had abused/neglected childhoods and no education of the meaningful things in life; forget the academic side! This video was beautiful and inspirational. We just have to forgive and pity the ignorant people who make such inappropriate comments: they must be very unhappy.
