Very nice titles, and in awesome nic too. Agree about Xenon 2, I got all excited about getting it for the SMS remembering Xenon from back in the day on either Amiga or Atari ST and it's just not that great to play as a shooter in the end. It has so much promise, it just does not make you want to keep going in it. Nice box though. Still hunting for a replacement Dungeon Master myself at the moment.
@electricadventures It's always nice to get decent condition games, though it's not the be-all and end-all for me. I just think that a game's presentation is secondary to the gameplay, and as they age graphics become less important and gameplay retains its value.
Xenon 2 nice! I got it on the Master System(very slow) and Megadrive(not bad). I agree with your comment about there is way better shooters out there, but back in the day watching my mate play it we were blown away! Final Fight One is great, if you can play Final Fight on the Mega CD the music is awsome!!
@BigHilm I have a MegaCD, but I can't afford to start buying stuff for that too (don't encourage me!). I'm enjoying Final Fight One, it seems that there are plenty of secrets to unlock as the body count rises, which provides an incentive to keep playing.
Great stuff Marc - some lovely pickups there and what more can be said about Monkey Island?! Xenon II....oooh controversial! ;) I see your point to be fair and if I (over)analyse it then it's quite possibly only the thumping music that has me holding it in such high regard.
Yes, you may want to slow down on the pickups (that's rich coming from me!) in order to focus more on the gameplay vids which are always good for channel variety. I'm going to do the same - money doesn't grow on trees! :)
@bluetonic78 It's just like me to get over excited and go at it a million miles an hour. I need to remember that collecting is a marathon, not a sprint. :)
@Martroid The presentation, as it often is with Bitmap Brothers, is excellent, no doubt about that. But technical aesthetic accomplishments become less relevant with time, and we are left with the gameplay, the importance of which never dimminishes.
@thejoyofsticks Totally agree with you there, brother, and as you said the first game is actually the better one, play-wise at least. Still, that was a lovely looking copy you got of Xenon 2. ;-)

Nice one, dude. I agree that 'Xenon 2' is a flawed game but you gotta love the Bomb the Bass soundtrack on it, aye? ;-)
