  • Who are the 58 bastards who disliked this video ? ! :D

  • I remember singing this with the whole class in secundary school... glad to hear this is SO much better haha.

    Have always loved the song!

  • danke an you tube, da I can listen this music, das ist europäische Kultur, an andere Jungs habe genügend Geld für The Duvbliners gezahlt.

Verdammte.

  • this is the best version of all the singers singing Molly Malone

  • One thing I could never stand was to see a filthy, dirty old drunkie howling away at the filthy songs of his fathers and going 'blerp blerp' in between as it might be a filthy old orchestra in his stinking guts. I could never stand to see anyone like that, whatever his age. But more especially when he was real old, like this one was.

  • Love this song

  • erin go bragh ....

  • This makes me think of 1848 Belfast. Ireland forever.

  • Love this.

  • Great song! Hello from Russia!

  • I don't know the words, but watching this video makes me wish I did.

  • A few years ago, I heard this version of a group, they sang it twice as fast, but it sounded incredible. Any idea how that band is called?

  • @dendanny56 Dropkick Murphys?

  • @RangerAhab

    I already found it, thanks.

    It's Johnny Logan and Friends

  • music like this makes you proud to be irish

  • 58 people stinks like cockles and mussels

  • your not irish, unless your parents sang this to you when you were young :)

  • Clockwork Orange

  • Oh , and whats so stinking about it?

  • COULD YOU SEE AN ADULT MALE SINGER ON T.V. SINGING A BABY SONG?

THAT IS WHAT WE SEE WHEN WE SEE THE DUBLINERS SINGING "WEELY WEELLY WALLA". NOW, HOW CHILDISH, AND SILLLY, IS T HAT? IMAGINE: JOHN LENNON SINGING THE TEDDY BEAR'S PICNIC. OR WESTLIFE SINGING ORANGES AND LEMONS.

OH, GOD, I THINK I CAN.

BUT HOW STUPID IS ALL THAT? I MEAN, ADULTS AND B ABY SO NGS.

THEY MUST BE PEEDOS, HALF OF THOSE SINGERS.

  • @squirell1952 Caps

  • GET MOLLY'S STATUE OUT OF THE PRESENT POSH PART OF BLAW CLEE CITY AND PUT IT INTO MOORE STREET WHERE IT BELOONGS. THERE ARE SCORES AND SCORES OF MOLLIES TODAY FLOGGING HALF-PRICE TOBACCO AND CIGARETTES.

MORE POWER TO THEIR ELBOWS, SAY I!!

I SAW ONE OF THEM WANKING AN OLD MAN OFF RECENTLY.

OH, GAWD YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEDN THE SPEED OF HER ELBOW!!!

  • MOLLY MALONE IS A SCOTTISH SONG FROM EDDINBURROW ORIGIANALLY!!!

IT DIED OUT THERE AND RESURFACED IN BLAW CLEE A FEW CENTURIES LATER.

    AND DANNYBOYIS NST IRISH EITHER.

MUSIC BY A SCOTSMAN, WORDS BY AN ENGLISHMAN!!

SO, YOU SEE, CULTURE TRAVELS BECAUSE IT IS MEANT TO TRAVEL.

  • Anyone spot Tom Cruise or look-a-like in 2:40?

  • i like this version a lil bit better

  • Welly welly welly welly well. Lookie what we have here.

  • @abcaummy Yeah, images from A Clockwork Orange were sorta running through me gulliver, too.

  • The audience was always encouraged, look through some of the videos on youtube. I think that the audience's involvment adds to the music, I would suppose that the name folk music was used because the folk are included, not seperated from the musicians.

  • Jonzeraa u are a legend :) it feels fucking unreal to be Irish :-) I'm a true corkonian like :)

  • Why does he encourage the audience to join in . the whole point in going to see a band is to listen to them not listen the the whole place roaring . You can sing the songs when you get home or better still down the pub.

  • @mrmagicroundcircle It's not an opera remember. A big part of the experience of going to see a band like the Dubliners is feeling and hearing the whole audience joining in and being part of it. An atmosphere like that suits songs like these.

  • @TheHantuDemon Maybe but i dont think the original Dubliners Ronnie drew ect encouraged the audience quiet as much as the modern version . they didn't need to in my opinion .

  • I'm an American and I love Irish music!!!!

  • God I love this song :D.

  • I'm a student in Belgium, and we have a costum called Cantus, where we all gather to drink beer and sing old folk songs. Lots of these songs are Irish classics.

And this one is my absolute favourite!

  • @Alexthegreatbelgian I know what you mean!! love a nice cantus myself... might even be running for cantor next year :)

  • Every fucking time I hear those guys I wish I was born Irish, fucking awesome culture and music.

  • @Jonzeraa ok m8 as from now and the fact we have just adopted u :) u are now officially irish :) soo enjoy as u will :0 now u being an irish person :0 ofc now your irish u got the luck of the irish with u for ever :) soo u cant really go wrong :) and ty for the nice comments :)

  • Irish Canadians stand proud!

  • Green Lightsaber HAHA Yoda Wins Darth Vader :DDD

    Andrew from Hungary

  • @szegedi68 Fantasztikus az együttes, és fantasztikusak az Írek! Kicsi a világ :) Üdv Szegedről I love this song greeting from Hungary

A Greensleeves, vagy a She moved through the fair az ő előadásában gyönyörű.

EIRE IS FOREVER!!!!! (and Baile Átha Cliath too, where girls are so pretty! :-))))))) )

Régebben én is többször voltam ilyen koncerteken. Pesten játszik a MÉZ vagy a Skeleton nevű, elég színvonalas kis, félig ír, félig magyar banda. (utóbbi nem tudom, hogy meg-van-e még.) Természetesen Flatley-t is láttuk.

it was great and i love this song

"Lebendig, lebendig, ho - hoo !"

"Lebendig, lebendig, ho - hoo !"

Ruft, "Herzmuscheln, Muscheln, lebendig, lebendig Hoo !"

  • should be this considered a country music too? I think U.S country music was born when the first europeans settled there,no? so how this music was called? I mean, before country music. They're practically the same. Sorry for my English, is not very good... I salute all the Irish people here =) I'm from México and both countries have a great History, back then in XIX century when México was invaded by the U.S. the batallion of Saint Patrick joined the Mexican army. Great History!

  • irishrebelandandproud. I respect and value those of a different tradition to me. I can trace my ancestors back to the early 17th century. I am as legitimate an Irishman as you are, but i'm from the North and i'm British and proud of it. The Good Friday Agreement was endorsed by an overwhelming majority in the south. Get over it. God Save the Queen and God save the Republic of Ireland !

  • @alatac1977 Yes 26 out of 32 counties are free, the remaining 6 counties in the north still remain under the british tyrants. We are not there yet,but one day we will get there, tiocfaidh ar la (our day will come) and 26+6=1. I hope catolonia will be free some day as well, then we can all sing really happy songs
